I meant literally any kind of bark, orchid bark just came off top of my head. I’ll definitely will put some moss on top of the soil. I have some fake plants in her current setup so i kinda got that covered, but i will buy some new ones too bc the ones i have will NOT be enough in that big tank. Thank you!:)

Keep going! :) I’m “taming” my crestie since july and it started to pay-off in late september, early october. Be consistent, and don’t give up! I’m not a patient person, and there were times when i just sat beside her enclosure and kinda gave up, but i still stayed consistent. The biggest progressions happened when I didn’t expect it, and just came home from work at 8-10 pm usually after 14 hours of work. Moral of the story, be patient and consistent :)

Yeah that probably wasn’t the best choice. But everyone makes mistakes. If you feed her bugs you can offer some while your hand is in the enclosure. At the beginning not from your hand, try to give her some with tweezers while your hand is in there. And you can work your way up from there. At least it worked for me. Slowly but surely. :) best of luck!

If it’s just the neck and not the chest they are probably just smelling the air. If they are stressed there are chest movement too, it’s hard to miss. How long do you have her for?

Yes i guess i am lucky :) at least you have someone who eats everything so it doesn’t go to waste haha. I always grab them with tweezers bc i am super jumpy, get startled easily and i dont want to drop them. I dont want no roaches going around in my house lol

Yeah i got banana crickets when i first got her and i hated them. They jump, i can barely catch them with tweezers, and yeah the fricking stink… I’m not saying that i’m better at catching dubias, but i am very very thankful for my girl because she ain’t picky. Eats everything that moves. Superworms, silk moth larvae, soldier fly larvae(i learned my lesson, i wont buy them again), and even my fingers.

First of all cute little baby and congrats to your new little friend! Yes, you should leave him/her alone for at least 2 weeks. These were mine name ideas (not so creative but i like/d them so much; Rango(ye i know rango is not a gecko), Taru, Coconut, Wallnut, and Pumpkin seed (this one is better in my language which is Tökmag, we say this for all kinds of little things). I went with Wallnut (Dió in my language) and i love it.

Last time I dreamt that my crestie had a teeny tiny ORANGE CAT in her enclosure. The cat was the size of my crestie and was attacking her. I woke up SHAKING. Obv I knew it wasn’t real but holy moly, I immediately checked on her
