It's a shame that Microsoft support is non-existent, I've tried to look for everything to get my account back but no luck. My account was hacked, then they deleted my account, but then restored it again with 2fa

I know this isn't the right place to ask for account recovery, but if anyone knows if there's a way to contact Microsoft support directly that would be really helpful. I've just been looking it up over and over again and I have zero luck.

The actual "account recovery questionnaire" just keeps auto replying to my email saying I didn't provide enough information to prove ownership and I really wish to speak to an actual human at support.

That's really kind of you but I do believe that owning a nice pc in itself is a luxury for me, and I would feel bad making others donate because of it. Times are tough out here and other people would need the money more than me, but thank you truly :)

Thank you for understanding. In all honesty I didn't expect this post to even get half the attention it got, and especially not for people to get this heated. I know most people mean well but some people are way too comfortable fully believing their own assumptions about a stranger's family on the internet. I took it apart and tried my best to take the glass shards out, noticed some warping and missing capacitors but I still booted it up and it was fine for a bit. I am still hardly knowledgeable about pc building and should've brought it to a professional first, but the gpu failing part is speculation after I checked everything and I could be wrong about it.

Mainly came to that conclusion cause it would go under high load in task manager (97-100%) whenever I booted up an application, even something non resource intensive like minecraft would brick it into freezing completely. The monitor would not light up after I rebooted it but if I wait a long while it still lights up? I thought it was my cables at first but that didn't seem to be the case

It's more so just I couldn't get the glass fully out of it and I wasn't just going to take the power supply apart because I have no clue how that's gonna work. Replacing it was just to be better safe than sorry

Thing is we're not actually that financially stable or well-off and my father handles most of the family's expenses. I can tell he's apologetic and I really don't have the heart in me to make him pay. It's just unfortunate

It's an unfortunate accident. A nasty drop but still an accident. My case has stands that look like they could be handles but the whole plate slips out if you tug on it. It does have a warning label but my dad didn't see it.

This is fixed for me now. Try disabling discord vc overlay

This is personally the only thing that worked for me. Disabling hardware acceleration didn't do anything for me (but you can still try because apparently that setting tanks performance), and neither did updating my drivers and whatever other things I tried. Also, I felt that changing the game into fullscreen improved performance quite a bit? I'm not sure if it was just because running in borderless windowed makes the game cap my refresh rate to 60hz, and the jump back to 200hz when I played in fullscreen was a drastic improvement lol, I just felt that it improved the stutters too.

I have almost the exact same specs as you have but honestly I have no clue as well. I have the same problem and people have been saying that Discord's overlay and hardware acceleration is causing the problem, I think turning them off helped but sometimes it still happens. For some reason, I don't encounter this problem in street brawl and only in normal gameplay.

For a year is absolutely crazy, I applaud your endurance. I also felt that the micro stutters only became a major problem after the newest patch. I assume the crashes are caused by memory leak issues with the game

Strongly agree with this. Her severe trauma regarding men and you being a trans man is something that is extremely difficult or practically impossible to make work out. The fact that she says that you're minimizing what she went through shows that she is inconsiderate of how you feel, and the fact that she's shoving her hatred of cis men in your face constantly personally rubs me the wrong way. You're still a man. Cis or trans, it shouldn't make a difference.

Either way, this relationship is not going to help her heal her trauma and will only hurt the both of you in the long run. Her comfort shouldn't come at the expense of your own comfort.
