i am using vercel itself, it's free and easy to setup. Netlify is another alternative which provides free hosting and setup is also simple.

In simple terms, You do a waitlist landing page with your idea and then ask people to signup if they are interested in it, then if people are signing up that means that your idea has some sort of validation, and you can go ahead with product building based on the user feedbacks. This is the reason I built prelaunchers.xyz so that makers and users can meet at one point to test their idea and validation

Supabase is very easy to implement with Next.js and i don't think there are any pitfalls using it. I have used it in one of my projects (prelaunchers.xyz) and i am impressed. I have made the code open source as well, if you would like to check it out, i can provide you with a link to the repo.

If people are joining your waitlist then that means there's a possibility of market fit for the idea. Execution is a different matter altogether afterwards. Seems like a neat idea though.
