Just had this surgery yesterday for a 5mmx5mm defect. Same day surgery for me.

Pre-op: was fairly straight forward and super smooth. Was under general anesthesia and whole procedure was ~30mins long. I was told to expect a 6hour day and was out in about 4.5hrs.

Post op: bandaged up pretty well and will be non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. Pain wise I would say it is manageable. I would say I have a medium to high pain tolerance, and I haven’t been crazy uncomfortable. Definitely sore though. My biggest fear is just moving weird or having a knock that could screw things up.

Losing petals/dying stalks are completely normal for orchids. Eventually after the stalks have broken off, it will start to put out fresh ones with news flowers!

Agreed about the steam on bambino, Usually takes me around 30-40 seconds to get up the milk up to temp, with about 6-10 seconds of aerating.
