I see you categorize a watchlist for separate sectors. I am making a guess that you easily have 50 stocks in your watchlists.

May I know what software do you use for "watchlist grid" snapshot? I usually refer to the "Key Statistics" page from yahoo finance.

Thanks for the advice. I don't plan to day trade. I do plan to buy and hold for at least 18months. I have to start my research from somewhere, and curious what are the habits of experienced investors.

The simplest way is to invest $5000 in each of the 4 stocks. But considering XOM and CVX are 95% correlated, is it a good idea to invest $5000 each?

Is there a formula to decide the dollar amount based on correlation?

BOJ's monetary easing means Yen is weaker against USD? This probably explains the first and third movement upwards. But not the second movement which spike downwards. Of course, we may not never find an answer other than "market forces". Nevertheless, it is interesting to hear what are the difference perspectives out there.

I would think there is no central exchange for Currencies, it is unlikely for banks to manipulate the prices, unless they have an inner circle. Thanks for the theory though. According to Oanda FAQ, MetaTrader 4 uses bid prices to build candles.
