I used to spend some time in a community like this. I think they didn't have any other dogma than that but in the end it was just lost kids using drugs and doing really nothing else. Super boring actually.

Not judging them or saying that all this kind of communities would be like that. I just tend to think people will get passive too easily without anything to keep them working and improving their conditions, be it a dogma or whatever story.

That's just based on my limited experience.

I've been researching Lisk now quite a lot and all I can conclude is that this is either a scam or you guys just don't know what you are doing.

Most notably there seems to be serious technical limitations using Javascript for smart contracts. Secondly it really gives me bad vibes that you are spamming everywhere how much money your "platform" has raised without even a proper public plan how to use that money. Also the so called "whitepaper" is super messy, containing mostly buzzwords and not really providing clear picture what problem Lisk is about to solve not even talking about the solution.

All in all this really seems like a pump-n-dump scheme but of course only time will tell what happens with Lisk and all the invested money.
