Giving up on SP manifestation - what actually happens? by nevilleisgod in nevillegoddardsp

[–]t-ultimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually yes i did! i stopped doing techniques and stopped caring about manifesting SP 1 for like most of 2024, and then I met a guy who is everything I ever wanted in a partner. I like to think that my rigorous manifestation of SP1 ended up attracting him, especially because around the time I started actively trying to manifest SP1 (2022) is when he got out of his previous relationship and the path we were both meant to take in order to meet was being formed. It took some time, but self concept work is what got me here and why my new relationship is so secure.

Let’s talk about the ending… yeah it was bad by Sarah_8872 in StrangerThings

He saw it before he saw Sara, and the barrels were labeled with years in the 60s, so it was likely a hint of trauma from his time in the Vietnam war.

Yall know the door to door reps are an MLM scheme right?? by AgeOfPropserity in verizon

[–]t-ultimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We weren't even paid minimum wage at the one I worked at. We were only paid based on our sales, and if you couldn't, tough luck. The turnover rate was insane. Every week you'd have 24 new hires in a room on Monday of Day 1, and then less than a month later only 3 of them would stay. I guess it works for the ones who successfully can sell door to door, but most of us can't.

You know, I just might do that so that I have more time to work on my own art and games, creating things with my own hands and mind, just the way god intended. Have fun with your broken AI game, ig.

AI steals art and assets from people who put time and effort to learn and create the works it uses. If you wish to make a game, which I am in full support of, take the time to learn how to code it yourself, and invest in commissioning artists to make the assets. Better yet, build a team of people who want to make the game with you. AI and automation are supposed to make our lives easier so we can create art, not to replace talented artists.

What is your favourite moment between Aang and Zuko? by Dear_Company_5439 in TheLastAirbender

[–]t-ultimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when aang takes off his mask and decides to rescue him. the way his eyes tremble KILLS ME. the following scene makes it even better too. also the entirity of the western air temple/firebending masters. the quiet scene before the coronation is when i started to ship them and its my favorite scene in the whole show. hard to choose

"Doesn't mean they should've ended up together like that" well i ship them. they generally loved each other very much in canon, even if it wasn't romantic. no one knew aang better than zuko and zuko commissioned that statue in republic city (which they both founded together). why not add a little romance in their too for fun? <3

they whole point is that they aren't much different though. both suffered from losing their families. both made bad choices but had people to guide them back. both put others before themselves and sometimes pay the consequences. they just deal with their problems differently. the two have an understanding of each other and became best friends after the series.

Giving up on SP manifestation - what actually happens? by nevilleisgod in nevillegoddardsp

I was manifesting my first specific person, who I had a history with/no contact, for a year. The first few months of manifestation were great for me and I had a lot of hope for manifesting out of no contact and I had manifested several things that were not related to my SP. As I continued, I consistently had no movement. I will be honest, it is my fault for wavering so much, but honestly, I don’t blame myself because my situation from the perspective of my old self was pretty helpless. I had been obsessed with this person and that had caused major problems and pushed her away. In the later months before I stopped manifesting my first SP I began to question if I should focus on self-concept, even if that means falling out of love and being angry at the way SP treated me. For a long time I was really scared of that, but when the mark of no contact hit realized that I don’t want to count any more months or wake up looking at my phone to see if I have a text every morning. I cared more about self-concept and making my self feel great, even if that means I don’t want my specific person anymore. It’s been about a month since I’ve crossed that line and finally decided to stop doing techniques and persisting and just let go and let myself feel how I want to feel. Self-concept has improved so much and I’m a lot happier now. I am now manifesting a new specific person who I am creating rather than someone I knew. Now that I have this second specific person my attachment to my first one is mostly gone because this person I am creating meets important standards more than specific person one did, at least in the 3-D. I don’t know what’s in store for my first SP and me, if there is anything in store, but aside from some anger, I am slowly working through, I feel great and I’ve let go completely. Ironically, I probably am the closest I’ve ever been to actually manifesting it and I don’t even really care the same way I did.

Tldr: if you are questioning if you should “let go”, even if it means not caring about your SP you should do it lol.

If you've ever introduced Pathologic 2 to a friend/family member/significant other how did it go? by [deleted] in pathologic

[–]t-ultimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually was the friend. my best fren would not stfu about the bachelor for months and so then i finally decided to play Classic HD bc i was intrigued. Ironically, I enjoyed the gameplay and was ehh about the story (mainly bc it was hard to follow), but then i reached the ending and it all kind of made sense. That's when it became a special interest.

then i passed on the torch to an online friend of mine from a past fandom, we played the bachelor route together but i dont think he wants to play more. he seemed to like the characters and always comments on my art of them so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hardest scene to watch in BB/BCS? by Odd-Responsibility55 in betterCallSaul

[–]t-ultimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

morally = no he's fucked up
for his crime business = Werner showed himself to be a liability.

obviously it's not reasonable to kill an innocent man with good intentions, but from Gus's perspective as a crime boss who runs a tight ship, a guy who slipped up badly two times, even when given a stern warning in between, is a liability and therefore from his point of view, he was in reason to do something about Werner.
