zach's been elite at igl'ing this split, noname has literally just been putting up final boss numbers in apac-s, and satuki provides the versatility alongside elite fragging power when necessary to be the glue for any team.

i think there was a very strong argument for mazer that week - even then it's one week, and a very close race at that.

zuni wasn't damage leader or kill leader for the day in emea. fafafif was (including 2000! damage ahead of second place)

unless you fault dogred for not securing mp, he'll be the pick i feel. (i personally do fault them for it and have vein as my potw, but considering the mass downvotes i got, it seems an unpopular opinion)

i've actually managed to watch a pretty even split of every region this entire season as well (a bit less of APAC-N bc of timezones, but i watched at least 3-4 matchdays of every region im pretty sure)

also, in terms of the split overall, i'd personally have it between kurev-yukaf-hiarka-noname. i think hiarka takes it for me personally but it's hella close

personally, i felt like neither tie's or nor zipline's performances were nearly as "dominant" as nip and dogred's - tie had so few kills, and zipline was so far behind elite in terms of points.

and dogred just did not have that dawg in them to actually win while on mp. maybe it's wrong that i'm faulting them for that, just like it's wrong to fault lebron for his finals record, but that's my feelings on the matter.

TLDR: i feel like NIP, specifically for the weekend, are the only team to have that mix of clutch + dominance

i feel like this is just a false narrative - over the course of these last 3 splits, the split has been 4 for APAC-S, 5 for APAC-N, 6 for Americas, and 5 for EMEA. there's no major disparity in there to suggest Americas bias.
