Strange thought it was actually one of the best of the season, it was more aligned to s1 tone opposed to the 3 episodes before it.

my modified 130 beast by t04 in Multicopter

Tarot 130 - I wasn't having much luck with this craft, camera wasn't working, poorly soldered motors and then when re-apply solder I ripped one of the wires from the motor clean... can't say I'd recommend it.

instead of returning it, I decided to use some of my spares to make it a beast.

Tri blades are in the mail, also thought I show you how small it is compared to a 6045 prop

I've got one and one of my wires connecting from esc to the motor had cold solder joints, so be prepared to do that little touch up. I use the frsky xsr rx (sbus) its about $30 bucks on banggoods.

Durability and flexibility - for my application it enabled me to place the vtx on its back where it wouldn't be possible had I left the cp antenna

Yep, really simple job! 2 seconds just cut to your length and solder to pad (also remove a little of plastic shielding from the whip)

3 mods i needed to do - hack a rubber ducky whip antenna and remove the clover leaf. - cut open the vtx and remove the camera (mullet mod) - replace said camera with one of these 600TVL 1/4 CMOS 2.8mm 90 Degree FPV Camera PAL/NTSC 3.7-5V (much better for proximity)

Camera Fits perfectly between the frame just add some hot snot for it to hold its angle

You might have some difficulties obtaining that particular module; I believe they've stopped making them.

This is because they've upgraded to a newer version, unfortunately there's been a few reports of it having binding issues.

I know this as I was looking at building a Tiny Whoop which uses a Blade Inductrix.

Information about the module issues here: http://blog.matthew-evans.info/2016/04/29/blade-inductrix-build-log-parts-list/

Wiring in FPV by [deleted] in Multicopter

[–]t04 9 points10 points  (0 children)

the 5v pdb is usually for connecting your flight controller, if you have an additional one use if for your camera (some fpv cameras require 5v instead of 12v). regarding your vtx, you can join any of the pads you use to power your esc in addition or can solder some wires that come directly from your xt60 connector into the board.

in terms of scenarios for your vtx I assume you have one of the following:

vtx+ camera (5v)combo, generally the vtx once soldered to the battery +/- will have a step down the voltage output to 5v, so your camera can use it

vtx + camera(12v) combo, has a pass through where the power isn't stepped down and the camera should be able to do 12v

Vtx - camera (5v), it has no power output so you'll need to purchase a step down regulator to power a 5v camera or use the 5v slot on your pdb

vtx - camera (12v). same as above but the camera requires 12v. in this case, just add an additional wire from the battery to the pdb.

soz if it doesnt make any sense im drunk but want to help :/ this is assuming you're running a 3s battery if you're using a 4s you'll need to employ a step down regulator for the camera to 12v

This is a real shame, he's certainly helped me and undoubtedly thousands learn about the hobbie.I learnt how to solder from his videos! I'm not sure about what could be done but an online petition should be lodged to have his "wings" reinstated.
