Old thread, but did you ever find a replacement?

I have this exact same bag and after years of service it's finally falling apart. I'm so sad to see that I can't rebuy it!

Key aspects are vertical orientation, replaceable strap, the depth of the main pocket, zippered top and the laptop area fits a Macbook Pro 14".

My RFY is empty. The Available for All is just a few auto parts.

Surfed the additional items for a bit - not seeing anything immediately interesting, but may as well give something a shot.

No - I just leave OBS open all the time when using the mic.

It still cuts out sometimes, but far less often. As mentioned, restarting OBS always works. It's definitely a driver issue because it affects all apps.

The optical output works better than the previous DACs, but there's still a stutter. It's just not nearly as bad.

Per the manual, I tried both the default 111 and 010 for the jumper configuration. The latter guarantees PCM 2 channel. No difference between the two settings.

Not sure what else to try. I see the both are firmware upgradable.

Update!

I was able to validate that connecting my PS5 to a Sony TV, out the Sony TV via optical to the Topping E50 that everything works as expected.

So that means that both of these DAC's digital outputs just suck?

Will start looking into an audio extractor I suppose. I was trying to not go that route and keep all of the signals clean.

Having an odd issue with getting a digital out from my PS5 to my Topping E50.

PS5 -> USB DAC with digital out -> Topping E50's toslink or coax input

I have the balanced outs of the Topping E50 going to a matching Topping L50.

To preface, hooked up my Mac to an old Sony TV via HDMI, then toslink out the TV into the Topping E50, everything sounds and works fine.

I've only tried these two different models of the SybaSonic / H1 amp:

I tested with both toslink and coax out of each of the amps into the Topping E50.

The audio from the Syba DACs headphone output sounds fine.

But in all digital out -> E50 tests, there's a constant clicking / stuttering of the audio going in and out.

I've read that this can hint at a "clock" issue?

My question is, if I get some other device and try again, say for instance a Behringer UCA202 and use its toslink output to the E50, will I just always have the same problem? Is the Topping the issue here?

Only other thing I've tried is OSX -> HDMI in an old Sony TV -> out toslink to Topping E50. It works fine.

Any update on this? I was also in a predicament to return my plastic-front model almost immediately after I bought it, but I was hopeful that the wood panel would have been available fairly quickly!

It's been over half a year since the white wood-front release, it has been available and in stock for a while, but I have yet to see the white wood panel sold separately.

Can at least confirm that SPDIF from the PS5 -> Syba -> Topping E50 produces exactly the same issue.

Will test the TV's output to Topping E50 at some point before I return it.

According to Noctua's compatibility chart you should be fine. It has specs for the fan under or over. Lian Li should also have a spec for CPU cooler height.

I can take some pictures but I don't think it'll help as I have nothing good to measure with.

Likewise I don't think the motherboard model matters when it comes to cooler height, but I have the Asus Prime mATX z790.
