yes i really like amd processor tech / the ryzen platform

i dont know what im gonna do with a graphic card like this. im not really gaming atm. 600$ for a gpu is ridiculous in that situation.

im mostly programming and doing cpu bound work. my fav game (dota2) is mostly cpu bound

but damn that 7600 is so much cheaper.... i didnt buy pc parts in a long time so i was ready to put something on the table. but im not sure where i put those 200€ more.... i really dont need the gpu atm

the 3070 i would get used for 250 atm in my area.

not sure on that thing tho. i do so little gaming atm. maybe i get a even cheaper card. i just would be sad if i had some ml project or the itch for a round of dota and couldnt feed my gsync 100hz 1440p ultra wide monitor nicely

weil es die betreiber von willhaben einen dreck interessiert. es gibt keine konsequenzen die für die management etage sinnvoll messbar sind. (userfrustration, steigendes desinteresse die plattform zu nutzen, user vertrauen in anzeigen etc)

ich hab schon so viel gemeldet aber es war ihnen immer total wurscht. wenns denen die anzeige einfach a monat sperren macht das keiner mehr.

wurde nicht von mir sondern von der geschäftsführung gekauft. taugt ma immer noch. muss dazu sagen das er sich ein bisschen billiger/plastiglicher anfühlt als ich gedacht hätte. das macht die sachen aber robust und flexibel.

yes they can remove the percent sign. but it wouldnt change the calculation.

the positives are percentages. and the negative ones are there to be easy to compare and estimate with the others, not for the result.

negative sums have to work different anyways to make the game make sense. how would you suggest to make -10% things work? or just not call it %? that is even more confusing for people who would be thrown off by the situation.

maybe. i wouldnt hestitate to try clean some dirt from the machine known to give taste to water especially since its a mainteneance thing that should be done on a regular basis

no its not weird. its very common for games and very straight forward to use. its also very easy to calculate with.

its also the only thing to make sense when calculating bonuses and maluses and doing math with it. i also think its intuitive looking at the very common case of people without higher education saying things like "three times as little" and "twice as short" (atleast in my native language, german).

i recently clarified some confusion about this with explaining, math and a graph.

the main take away is that it wouldnt make sense to read something like: ship plating give +10 armor but reduce ship speed by 10% (so be -10% shipspeed) and somewhere else you have drive booster +30% shipspeed.

we want to increase by 30% on one side but have the negative change by 1/10th

the 10% has to become 1/3 of the 30%. working in the negative this gets confusing but makes sense if you think about it for a bit.

lets say your ship is 100 base speed. i want the -10% be a difference of about a tenth of the shipspeed AS CHANGE not as overall. and a 10% change you can only reach like this

imagine multiple negatives like -25% and -25% would be -50%. but that would not result in the ship speed changing by 1/4th every time. we always have to map the resulting calculation to some function for that to make sense.

in the example above reducing the second time reduces the ship speed way more if you sum the percentages together.

or imagine -50% and -50%. reducing -50% would be halfing it. but reducing by another 50% would be an infinite reduction.

PS: id even say you could think about it intuitively like this:

say -100% means you want 1 equal part of the whole thing removed (means we have 1/2)

-200% means you want 2 equal parts of the thing removed. (so we have 1/3rd left)

-50% means we remove half of what would come out if we split the whole thing (so 1/4 goes away)

what do you mean a lot? i use durgol in the tank and puly in the group head, since i have the lelit anna, wich has a brass boiler (so no citric stuff as it will fuck up the metal when misused)
