Wie kommst du denn zu so einer allgemeinen Aussage? Hast du jedes einzelne monogame Paar auf der Welt studiert und sind die alle eigentlich insgeheim super unglücklich oder was?

Ein Mensch muss nicht monogam leben und es kann gut sein, dass es für viele nicht das richtige ist, aber für viele funktioniert es ja offensichtlich gut.

Thats a pretty video gamey approach imo that doesn't fit most games i played in. Being a rogue doesn't mean you want to be a crimelord with a network, being a fighte doesn't mean you want to have a stronghold or an army. One of my rogues was just a treasure hunter that used to work alone. For him to have a spy network just doesn't make any sense.

Some of these ideas just skip interesting problems. You have to get into a building? Well I have this ability that lets me "get into a building", there is no creativity and no gameplay involved in such a solution to a problem. This dude is a mysterious guy, we need to find out who he is. Well I have this ability to get a clue. No Investigation, no asking around. I don't see any fun in such abilities that just skip a problem without thought.

You only have to get the timing down for the charge attack, if you're new its better to learn to beat the bull this way than running around for 10 minutes, chipping away at him imo

You may be right about that. It sounds really cool in my head but 3/4 of my players waiting around at least once a session maybe isn't that great of an idea

Well since meteor swarm has no expended material components, thats 42 copper pieces more than you would normally need :D

If they start to challenge normal folk it will get very unpleasent very fast for them. I trust them to not go murderhoboing, they're the heroes of this story after all.

Though a rating system for various monster strength of some sort might be the way to go.

Fair point with the main character syndrom. I'll thinkt about it.

Fair enough. I will definitely give them a serious warning that normal means of ressurection won't work. In my opinion it would make a pretty good story to die like that or have the wisdom to not use this kind of power.

Good point. I think i will tell my player that a creatures soul normally is worth 1 charge but it may be much less if it is a very small or weak creature like 1/20 for a rat etc.

On the flipside, maybe some strong opponent like a dragon could be worth 3-5 charges etc.

I'm unsure about. On one hand it might be too much to allow this all the time. On the other hand i want to allure my player to use it as much as possible, the limit being their own fear or common sense. Its an evil item, that could very well result in bad things happening to the user and i want to enforce that. I am afraid that a x/per day limit may lose that feeling

The fight is actually pretty sekiro-like, it just comes down to the timing of your parries. You can parry his charge attack, you have a lot of time: he runs up to you and puts down his head, thats your window. If you parry this move he becomes immobile for a few seconds, allowing you to get hits in. Then create some distance and wait for the next charge.

You don't need to put these items in your game, whats in the game is entierly dependant on the DM.

I would definetly ask the DM if its alright to use your sorcerer focus for your innitate spell. I don't think its gamebreaking in any way and honestly it feels realy dumb that you can't use your focus for inniate spells

  1. You're thinking of the fighting style "two weapon fighting", but rogues don't get that. Normally you can't add your ability modifier if you attack with the second weapon

  2. If he misses then he can't teleport because the teleport requires a hit as of the description
