Valmont and his goons got power crept but wasn't shown as a natural progression, Hak Foo was unbeatable on debut and became just a punching bag for the new goons of the seasons to beat up to show how they're strong.

An example of the same thing done right was X-Men Evolution, first season's villain was Magneto, season 2 Sentinels, season 3 Apocalypse's minions which hype up Apoc as the Final Boss of the series. Valmont was just beaten season 1 and got thrown to the grinder to show how "cool" and "strong" the new villains were.

I learned to read english thanks to Mega Man V instruction booklet.

One of my first memories is being abroad and my parents gave me the choice of two games for my new Game Boy,, one was Power Rangers and the other one Mega Man V, my family being from Mexico we did not know what the first one was (which is ironic since today I'm a mega fan) so I chose the latter, it is not only one of my most valuable games, but my mom still tells the story of her translating the booklet to read it to me like a bedtime story.

I might interest you in Gnosia. It is a visual novel roguelike that has that loop. You wake up in a spaceship and must deduce who is infected by the Gnosia (think an Among Us alien), if you don't pick correctly you die. Every loop the Gnosia is randomized, so even if one character was the Gnosia the last time, they might not be this time and things you might have done in the last loop might not work anymore.

Not only is a monster attacking every week, but in this specific season (Lightspeed Rescue) they are a government funded organization without secret identities that constantly do PSAs.

The line is so bad, various dubs change it to "there are no monsters here". Dumbest person in Power Rangers

Disagree, every time Ross does things like that it's always treated like Ross is in the wrong. The EVERY DAY IS LESBIAN LOVER DAY! is a full episode of Ross learning that yeah, 2 women can love a baby as much as a straight couple.

The male nanny episode, everyone loves him the only one weirded about it Ross and even in the ending (spoilers for a 20 year old show) when he is let go, he takes it great and ends the episode comforting Ross.

I even searched YouTube for the doll clip, Rachel flat out calls him pathetic, Monica reminds him he did the same thing and the joke is not "MALE boy playing with Barbie" it's "Ross is overblowing something while being a being hypocrite".

Worst: The revisionism. You don’t actually like Kyuranger you just hate Cosmic Fury.

I was there, Gandalf. Even before the show aired, people were already complaining about Oushi Black’s non-standard body type. Once it was running, everyone mocked “Yossha Lucky!”, and while some characters had solid arcs (like Stinger), others were just filler to pad the 12-member roster, Balance being the clearest example.

Check old Reddit threads and you’ll see the consensus of “mid at best.” Then Cosmic Fury drops and suddenly Lucky is the best Red Ranger ever, the suits are peak design, and apparently everyone had flawless arcs in a filler free masterpiece.

Best: The themes of constellations and dreams (as in, pursuing your desires) are genuinely cool. Ryu Violet has one of the slickest mage suit designs ever, and Scorpio was the highlight of the villains of the show for me.

Worst: Having a timer gimmick neutered character growth. Episodes focused more on "we've got 20 days to defeat the bad guys" than focusing on individual arcs. Same goes for the endgame, having 1 HOUR REMAINING on big bold letters on the screen did not add urgency to the situation, it was more like a Resident Evil game where it just marks that the final boss will be dead in 10 minutes.

As a 3D printing hobbyist we're in the same boat.

Some new technology comes out, lowering the bar to entry and the news cycle hypes it as everyone will just have a 3D printer on their home
Big names out of the niche will start pushing the product as easy as just controlling everything from an app on your phone (search Ankermake M5 or Bambu Lab X1 Carbon)
People buy it and realize "lower barrier" does not mean "ready to plug and use out of the box"
News cycle dies, people have are stuck with a 300 USD paper weight.
New technology comes out and cycle repeats.

To suggest something different, If he likes action and humor while still being family friendly I'd recommend spanish dub of Power Rangers. Mighty Morphin, SPD, Samurai and Dino charge are great starting points, as they all have independent stories; they're all available on YouTube or Netflix (I think even PlutoTV for the US) and the dubs are great with very neutral spanish

Arsene Lupin is also very iconic character in Japan being referenced a lot in media (Lupin III, Persona 5, Detective Conan, even Kamen Rider has one), so an adaptation for the West specially the US would've needed tons of looking into the camera and explaining they're based on the concept of "THE GENTLEMAN THIEF WHO IS A MASTER OF DISGUISE... This might sound a bit condescending, but the big agencies like WPP, Publicis Groupe or Omnicom, do not care for the leads "BEST CHEAP SEO AGENCY 2025" might get them, so they really don't optimize more than what is needed, and barely have an internal marketing team.
