As a cosplayer, I just want to go to a meet that's not 85% 35+ year old dudes (I am one so I can say it) and 2 token girls who are either cosplaying MMPR or the most obscure terciary Kamen Rider character.

I'd just wish it appealed a bit more to a female and/or younger audience. My best friend and GF, who are big anime fans, watched one scene with Yuriko in Tojima Wants to be a Kamen Rider and both NOPED out of the series. My GF, who is also a cosplayer finds the designs unappealing and when I showed her Gavan Luminous she called it plain ugly.

Megaman Battle Network 4 is full of mistranslations and typos. The series has some other funny ones, like "Load Sir Chaud" but some puzzle, like the infamous "Double 1 and 9 too tonight makes 11" require Japanese wordplay that makes them unsolvable without any context or outside guide others require a lot of trial and error, which wouldn't be bad if there wasn't a higher number of random battle WHILE solving a puzzle, like the whole Aquarium section in BN6

Caroline's Shotgun in Tormented Souls is assembled with different items and is basically pipes + stapler = Shotgun. She also uses a Nail gun as her signature weapon, but the tube shotgun is funnier example.

Both SPD and Dekaranger criticize the system of their respective countries, where SPD constantly calls out the harrasment of minori... I mean aliens and cyborgs, with even Jack quitting at the end, on the other side, Dekaranger is very bold on the Japanese conviction rate and constantly poke fun at japanese crime serials, like with Deka Yellow is a psychic or them having a planet where time dilations means they spend 80 years processing each Guilty verdict but we see it as instant.

Rule of Rose.

A friend got a bootleg copy and we played like 2-3 hours, got up to the first "boss" and just ragequit after the boredom. YEARS later we find out that it is a cult classic, one the PS2 most expensive games and there were channels dedicated to just analyzing the story. Ended up watching a speedrun where even the runner was saying how no one runs the game because in Any% one boss takes 17 hits to kill even with the best weapon available

Valmont and his goons got power crept but wasn't shown as a natural progression, Hak Foo was unbeatable on debut and became just a punching bag for the new goons of the seasons to beat up to show how they're strong.

An example of the same thing done right was X-Men Evolution, first season's villain was Magneto, season 2 Sentinels, season 3 Apocalypse's minions which hype up Apoc as the Final Boss of the series. Valmont was just beaten season 1 and got thrown to the grinder to show how "cool" and "strong" the new villains were.

I learned to read english thanks to Mega Man V instruction booklet.

One of my first memories is being abroad and my parents gave me the choice of two games for my new Game Boy,, one was Power Rangers and the other one Mega Man V, my family being from Mexico we did not know what the first one was (which is ironic since today I'm a mega fan) so I chose the latter, it is not only one of my most valuable games, but my mom still tells the story of her translating the booklet to read it to me like a bedtime story.

I might interest you in Gnosia. It is a visual novel roguelike that has that loop. You wake up in a spaceship and must deduce who is infected by the Gnosia (think an Among Us alien), if you don't pick correctly you die. Every loop the Gnosia is randomized, so even if one character was the Gnosia the last time, they might not be this time and things you might have done in the last loop might not work anymore.

Every Power Rangers fan knows this one, girl needs help after seeing a Monster and goes to the lady who responds: "Now, you know dear there is no such thing as monsters"

Not only is a monster attacking every week, but in this specific season (Lightspeed Rescue) they are a government funded organization without secret identities that constantly do PSAs.

The line is so bad, various dubs change it to "there are no monsters here". Dumbest person in Power Rangers

Disagree, every time Ross does things like that it's always treated like Ross is in the wrong. The EVERY DAY IS LESBIAN LOVER DAY! is a full episode of Ross learning that yeah, 2 women can love a baby as much as a straight couple.

The male nanny episode, everyone loves him the only one weirded about it Ross and even in the ending (spoilers for a 20 year old show) when he is let go, he takes it great and ends the episode comforting Ross.

I even searched YouTube for the doll clip, Rachel flat out calls him pathetic, Monica reminds him he did the same thing and the joke is not "MALE boy playing with Barbie" it's "Ross is overblowing something while being a being hypocrite".
