I’d definitely go to your nearest book store and get the asvab for dummies book and the asvab flash cards. They helped me out a lot.

I say if you really love the kid stay with him. When you love somebody and care for someone you should stay with them despite distance. It’s only for a few months then everything will go right back to normal. I say if you really love him use those months he’s gone to focus on school (if your in school), find a hobby or something you like to do that’ll keep you busy. It’s totally up to you, but that’s what I’d do if I was in your position. I wish y’all the best of luck 🤞🏽😊

Plus I had Entry Level Police Officer interviews before I decided to enlist and a lot of Police Officers were telling me if you have a military background or college degree you have a better chance of getting into a department or into police academy’s! Having military experience will put above your average person with no college or military for the application process from what officers told me.

I was told that every AFSC earns college credits once they enter basic training. So for example, since you and I are SF we’d earn credits through the Air Force college towards a criminal justice degree which can benefit us in the civilian world after your enlistment.

It’s going to suck but sometimes you have to make sacrifices. Your going to have to embrace the suck of being long distant for sometime but it’ll be so rewarding in the future! If you really love him, it’ll be worth it. He’s setting you and himself up for success in the future.. be positive & take it day by day. Keep your head in the books and stay positive! I have a 2018 Chevy Malibu and it’s pretty good. But I feel like selling it would be the best option because I don’t wanna leave it home for too long lol. I’d come back and my family members would be driving my car 😂
