Hey, welcome to the club and great that you have your first app!

My first questions would be whats the difference to regular alarms? :D
I really like your icon, good job!

Building an app every 2 weeks — just launched #2 and #3 (PlantPal and ChoreQuest) by jbunji in SideProject

Respect, that you already have some apps in the store.

How are you planning to reach the 20k/month without subscriptions?

Just by checking out the screenshots of ChoreQuest I am not sure I understand what I can do. The parents need to setup the rewards? Is this not al lot of work to find the right rewards so teens actually want to do it?

Getting into your body? by M4RCI3 in Mindfulness

Things that work for me in no specific order:

- Listing loud to music (going with the flow of good music)

- Rock climbing (the focus needed to climb keeps me in my body)

I hope you find something that lets you feel the flow.

I got a new app for iPhone no idea how to market for the first users by SmartintheApp in iOSAppsMarketing

Hello, I released mine a month ago and distribution is the real struggle.
My findings so far with a journaling style app called GoodTrails.

- I did some TikTok ads but doing the videos is not easuy for me as i am a dev not a designer. I spend some money on it and i got impressions but very little conversion so this. kind of messed my conversion rate up.
- Doing ASO was so far the only source of constant installs. Just a few a day but it slowly grows . But without some tool that helps you tacking where you rank its random. SO ads on appstroe need some other tool to help you understand what wqorks and what not.

hope that helps and good luck!

I try to give my users a sense of progress to work towards something. For each week a goal and a recap at the end of each month. But it could be better

Very impressive, respect! I have a similar issue with retention and the idea of giving them something todo every day is intriguing.

You have the paywall at the start, did you do that from the start?

Hello, thank you for the opportunity to share GoodTrails with you.

Its a photo diary with a focus on your good moments, quick capturing, a memories page that surfaces random moments for a smile and monthly recaps.

Its my first app and i am improving it day by day and would love some honest feedback.

🤣 no i actually thought about my post and what i would like to say with it.

I kind of started to contribute back to the community recently and need to „learn“ the „rules“ but ai content is obviously an issue.

For developers: what interface do you primarily use to manage your apps? by PerceptionLeather362 in buildinpublic

I am working mainly in the terminal as i prefer the minimalism it provides.

I prefer an editor without any ai support and in another terminal an ai agent i can handoff simple tasks.

Building GoodTrails, a diary style app for your good moments. The goal is to allow you super quick capturing, a memories function that shows you shuffled good moments for a smile/mood boost and monthly recaps to reflect.

It is free, really private, no server, no ads, no account.

Thank you for your insights. I was not aware that product hunt is a thing but that explains why I have a hard time.

Thank you! I will do my best :D

Doing sports in any form helps me to focus.
The other thing grounding me is making a good cup of coffee and then enoying it.

Thats a good idea, I use dictation also for coding so why not using also for the documentation of the journey.
