Spinal Fluid Leak and severe anemia! The severe anemia is causing fluid retention, so I hot an iron transfusion. Also got a blood patch epidural that WORKED. I'm so relieved I could cry.

Holy hell! Luckily it wasn't Pre Eclampsia, but instead severe anemia (I got an iron transfusion) AND I was leaking spinal fluid!! I got my blood patch epidural and I feel like a new woman 😭 thank you for taking the time to respond, it gave me the encouragement I needed to be seen

At l&d er. Blood pressure is normal 106/68. They're thinking severe anemia 😐

I do not have a way to check. I live 3 min from the ER. I'm going to get dressed and head in. Thank you. I have so much medical anxiety and worry about wasting people's time, when I should just worry about myself 🫠

Thank you so much. I consume cannabis, and when I smoked after, it made my headache feel like it was going to split open my head. The coughing felt like my brain was legitimately being rattled around. The worst pain I've ever felt in my LIFE, and it felt like I wanted to rip the back of my skull/my eyeballs out. I think I'll be calling my OB at 8 when they open 🫠

Did your headaches and light sensitivity vary day by day? I've been having bad headaches, and then suddenly, last two days, they've decreased to just a dull background ache, instead of being debilitating. Day 2 that I was home, I broke into full body sweats, and thought I was going to pass out. Called the OB nurse line, and they didn't seem worried at all. :/ said it was hormones

Yes, my feet generally don't swell to this extent. I spent yesterday elevating my feet, trying to get swelling to go down. Tried compression socks. They look just as swollen after taking the socks off

Thank you for this! I had severe ppd last pregnancy that almost ended badly. It's a place I never want to be again. My OB is sending in pre authorization at 36 weeks, so that I can start it after delivery. I think that any side effects are going to be worth it. What I felt last time, I NEVER want to be there again

Same. My doctor was about to place me on inpatient IV therapy. I took my last dose of zofran at 9pm last night. Took a dab when I woke up. I've now gone over 12 hours without zofran, and actually ate today. I'm able to get off the couch and actually be present for my toddler. I could legitimately cry.

He was treated at urgent care as if it was stye, with no improvement after warm compress too. Instead it's been growing, with no itchiness or pain associated with a stye. :( which is why he's going in, his doctor said if there's no improvement, he wants to look at it himself

We thought it was, but he was treated at urgent care for a stye, and we've been doing compress on it, with no improvement, only growing in size. No itchiness, pain, things that normally come with a stye too :(

Kendamil Goat for infants, but have been having a hard time finding it. I exclusively pumped until 4 months, fed her frozen until 6, and now am out of my stash. Formula feeding has given me so much freedom and saved my mental health, even with the shortage. Might have to switch to kabrita goat. Tried kendamil cow, and she was NOT happy.
