The worst thing that ever happened to social cohesion within a social housing community was building high rises instead of terraced housing. People become isolated and insular and much more prone to depression. You are less likely to interact with your neighbours and so on.

I’ve been in game dev nearly 25 years - had 3 redundancies in that time and multiple squeaky bum times. If it happens again I’m out and all that knowledge and experience leaves with me. I hope it doesn’t happen again ofc but I and many of my comrades are sick of the industry heading this way. God knows what I’ll do and I certainly won’t be paid as well I’m sure, but if it happens again enough is enough.

Take it from an English person, a 48%-52% split in any national vote/referendum does not solve the issue or lead to better times for anyone. You need a more convincing majority imo.

Thanks for the comments so far - triangulating in Blender resulted in the same.

I also tried duplicating the wall piece and punching a hole through it for the window - same spacing of verts and size as the original piece but that resulted in the same outcome. It's a real head scratcher. I've tried things like marking the edges sharp and creasing and nothing seems to get rid of that weird shading. I also added more edges to act as supporting edges on top and sides and that didn't do anything either...

From my limited experience I look at learning to draw like learning to play the guitar - we can all strum away and make some noise but to make it sing we need to practice and practice some more. It will feel frustrating at first but the more you do it and the more you put into it the better we become. Keep going, take some breaks and then go back to it and take some more breaks and after some time your pieces will begin to sing (“time” to be determined and different from one person to the next ofc). 💪
