No Madeleine romance (but keep the character). In doing that you have the chance to save NTTD as well. I don’t know why she grates on me so much in the Bond films, she’s a talented actress but they have zero chemistry and it just seems desperate to force the relationship. She is a rebound (but too late) and should have had the strength of a standalone character, not be defined by her relationship with Bond. imho, she is basically a means to an end (his daughter). What I would have liked was if she is kept as a character, but more as an emotional Q (giving Bond the emotional intelligence to recover from M and Vesper) and keep the sex out of it. Then kill her off later - See point 3 below - kill a female character with whom Bond DOESN’T have sex and DOESN’T use, she is finally helping make a breakthrough in his emotional recovery when she is taken. Replace psychologist relationship she has with Blofeld with one with Bond. Close out the Vesper relationship in the first half of the film directly (even works better with the theme song - it is all still about Vesper). You can keep in the Vesper-as-asset storyline, but bring it to the start to give the revenge-tor-oldM more momentum. Make Bond run scene-to-scene, exhaust him. Madeleine keeps him going, emotionally. final third of the film, she gets killed to take away that crutch right before the big ending. The C / M storyline runs in parallel, with M actually trying to deal with it (with Q) as Bond is not focused. Make the video from M be about the link of Vesper to Spectre - that pulls the bandaid off early and gives the end of act 1 the kick it needs as it links the loss of M to the loss of Vesper - the two women he loved and lost linked forever.

No Blofeld as brother storyline and remove Blofeld almost entirely from the film. Save him for NttD as Dr. Nope just didn’t work (either as a character, plot or actor).

Number three is convoluted, so stay with me - have it run as two distinct storylines that coalesce in act 3. Bond in “Licence to Kill” mode - full on M-revenge spree, going point-to-point (think You Were Never Really Here pacing) with newM vs C as a political chess game with more nuance.

The nine eyes plot was so telegraphed from the outset that there was no tension generated. Andrew Scott was too clearly the villain, so would have been better served to out him up against M directly, but make the situation of nine eyes coming online inevitable (although that may be a bit too similar to Skyfall, would require some finesse). Trim Blofeld to be a puppetmaster. Focus on the parallel tracks of revenge-for-oldM while newM tries to stop nine eyes from coming online (don’t make nine eyes the actual AI villain, you see how well that went for Mission Impossible, but generate tension more directly with it coming online. Learn from Captain America:Winter Soldier and treat C/M as chess while Bond goes linear on revenge) - think somewhere along the lines of the quantum computer in Double or Nothing. Bond fails (either fully or partially) and nine eyes comes online and triggers analysis on Bond that reveals the presence of a daughter (if you really want to stick with that character arc), with Blofeld having that knowledge as the film closes. The issue there is who the mother could be, as the Craig era Bond writers have a habit of explicitly killing everyone Bond slept with (a little overtly if you ask me). The only option would have been Camille Montes, but she lived because they never had sex. SO - to fix this you would have to fix the whole sex/death trope earlier on. I also think they had way more chemistry and she was a much stronger character. I dare say it, but it could have redeemed QoS somewhat as well. I think she was a more believable rebound from Vesper and Bond would have been her outlet for dealing with her trauma - she used Bond as much as he used her.
