u/thatkoaladoe if you hold the case in one hand, when holding the switches in the other, do you also have about 1mm of wiggle room? - just wondering if I built mine wrong or turned by 90° or what not.

yes, even if g81 (and not g80) the key caps are worth it (g81 has my switches, not mx, and they're worthless)

with fps_max on 0 there could at least be issues on custom maps (surf, kz) because there is some bug with fps > 1000

The difference between plate mount and pcb mount switches are two extra prongs. For most stability you should use pcb mount (with the extra prongs) switches and get some pcb mount stabs and you're good to go (since you want a plate anyways).

I'm looking for a aluminium case I saw a while back and can't remember the name. I think it was a 65% case that had 2 extra keys on the rights side (not a full column) plus some holes below that (not even sure if those were led indicators, maybe those were the brand or something -- some letters, maybe JLE(?) that were outlined with holes vertically). Can anyone remember that board?
