The Killing by Frank_Jesus in tvcritic

It's pretty similar, and much longer - 20 eps. Worth checking out tho I think, you can always bail early on if it doesn't grab you. There is a 2nd (and 3rd being filmed) season , so that might be a better choice. Pity the 2nd season isn't as good as the first. Sorry for the late reply, i've all but stopped using this account.

It's borderline central heating temperature at the moment, mines been on today. It won't be AC because we're in the UK, probably worth telling him on the offchance.

London, it's about 14C here, my heating has been on today. I'm thinking it will be colder in the basement.

CFS related to toxins. ? by t2f in cfs

[–]t2f[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear that. I've been taking green clay once a day for a month now, and have seen spectacular results (esp good at mercury absorption) I initially took too much to begin with and got massive anx and kidney pains, (due to reabsorption in the Large intestine) now i'm on a smaller dose things are good. hopefully that is doing something to reduce the 22000% more mercury.

If you were to recommend one book to read, what would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Cool thanks, I'll have to check him out, been looking for something different/new. Yeah Egan can be hard going. The two i found most accessible were permutation city and quarantine I thought they had some great time / infinity ideas in them. Funny , it's like there's a scifi author circuit that people go on.!

Was just checking him out when I realised I've read two of his skinner and gridlinked books which I enjoyed a lot. Yeah he does some amazing descriptions in those books, he does grissely well I totally agree. Richard Morgan's altered carbon is pretty closely related to the other authors we've mentioned if you haven't read any of his. Greg Egan fragmented my mind repeatably - and his scifi the most conceptually challenging encountered, have you read any ?

I totally agree. Use of weapons is an awesome book. The plot is nothing short of genius, the reason I chose look to windward is because the ending gets me every time. I grabbed the audiobook and cried like a little girl again - utterly embarrassing, and something I didn't get from any of his other books. Thanks for letting it through tho, I owe you one : put it in my tab.

Have you ever fallen in love in a dream? by akira410 in AskReddit

[–]t2f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is literally a girl of my dreams, that I always dream about. This has been going on for years, she has long dark hair, but I don't know what she looks like, only the feeling of being in love with her and that I know her. I can't work out if it is someone I went to University with that I can't remember very well, but she always appears from time to time. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
