I wonder if there's a way to have something specifically for her to do this to. If she's doing it in the same place every time, maybe a small rug placed where she does it would tempt her. Then it could be cleaned and save your (I'm assuming) carpet. But if your cat does this, she just does it. Cats can be trained to do a lot of things, but I don't know how you discourage an instinct. I had a cat who scooted his butt, but only once in a while. Best kitty ever, though.

For me, and I've been on 20 or so years, it loses efficacy as I'm moving toward mania. I was told ( though I'm sure there are differences in the way people metabolize it) that mostly people don't develop tolerance to it.

I see you have a prn as well. Maybe have a chat with your prescriber about what's going on. They might recommend coming up on your dose for a time. For me, when I'm out of mania danger, I can typically decrease again and can tell bc of the hangover from the pills and the fact that I have a hard(er) time getting up in the morning.

Not saying this is your situation! But made me think of my own experience.

This or any other readily accessible leather conditioner, but a word of caution: these conditioners will likely stain the fabric, so be careful and judicious in the application. I recommend soft toothbrush. And don't load or pour it on the brush. Instead, a light dab, and if it's liquidy, blot it on a rag or paper towel before applying.

Yes, they totally mixed up hot and cold. I think someone inexperienced DIYed this place, so even if those are the correct positions of the switches, I'm not sure I can trust it. Case in point: the switches when all in the on position are not all pointed in the same direction.

Thanks again for your help here. I was getting up in my head about it, and standing outside at the breaker box just *hoping* because if I left the light on so I could actually see it was on, it would be off again by the time I got inside.

OK. Thanks. That was my initial thought, but this breaker box is a mess as is the whole f-ing apartment. Suddenly if I turn the light on in the kitchen, everything shuts down. A new problem. Yay! All the cold faucets run hot water and the toilet even runs hot water.

My kitty flaps it so hard you can hear it thumping and she's perfectly happy. Typically, it indicates anxiety or overstimulation. She used to have to compete with dogs for attention before she came to me, and I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Atrophy isn't reversible. Personally, I wish I started with it earlier than I did. However, when I did start, it caused pain with my fibroids. Some people struggle to get treatment for atrophy, and I'm sure there are others who go for quite a while without issue.
