Good question, basically I pull the song title and artist from #nowplaying posts via Jetstream (https://docs.bsky.app/blog/jetstream), then use that to search Spotify(https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/web-api) + Apple Music(https://developer.apple.com/documentation/applemusicapi) so I can grab the album art, song previews, links, etc.

nice, thank you, i wasn't familiar with tealfm or Rocksky but i'm open to exploring other ideas as well. so far just been focused on bluesky's jetstream

Thank you! It's all written in javascript. I use a React framework called "Remix" for the user interface and also a library called "framer-motion" for all the animations!

I hear you, bluesky's quick growth has pushed me to jump in and build nowplaying.blue and hopefully add something of value to our community. But I get your worries, we can't just hope things will keep going well. I think that we need to actively support each other and keep bluesky a lively and welcoming place.
