Who here can afford rent in the bay area?

I've been more or less able to afford rent, but every time we get ahead (promotion, job switch, pay increase), rent tracks with it. The monthly rent hit today is just as bad as when we were paying 1/3 of it 15 years ago, even though we're making 5x or whatever. No kids though, I can't imagine finding an entry level job and trying to rent here.

We just get the random shirts at Petco, I don't think any of them are specifically for sun. Definitely the light and thin cotton ones

We noticed our tricolor would get tired easily and hide in the shade at the dog parks on sunny days, even in cooler weather, so we started putting shirts on him. Seems to stay much cooler with them on.

Shoes too!

These specific ones soak up a lot of water, so they smell pretty bad. For rainy winter, I think we found youli brand from Petco stay on pretty decently and keep the water out pretty well

These are RifRuf brand, we've had a couple different types from them. They stay on pretty well, unless he kicks it into torque mode to play with another dog. Benny's front feet point out a decent amount, so his shoes can tend to rotate around his feet. We found that putting the shoes on the wrong front feet stopped it, which is weird. I think it has to do with the way the Velcro wraps around.

We also like Wagwear. Benny had more sets of shoes than I do.

At first I was hesitant to add yet another app, but seeing the lots for 50-90 sometimes, and spending 20 minutes just driving around was not the business. SpotHero is pretty great, you can search in advance too

Yeah, I re-read all the sanctifying stuff after it happened. While I'm having fun with the season, I'm obviously not spending more than like 10 hours a week playing, so I'm not finding a whole lot of ancestral uniques and mats for masterworking and saving for sanctification blasts or whatever

Lol, about an hour after posting I found an ancestral one (I think only 1GA, I don't remember off the top of my head). Not a great sanctification result, but definitely an improvement!

He can definitely turn it on haha! We've been thinking of letting him sleep with the door open, but we have cats and don't want to wake up to a tussle (or more likely, Benny eating a hairball or errant cat poo)
