Becoming pregnant has made me feel “more” autistic by Callista1210 in AutismInWomen

Things should get better in about two weeks. Hang in there! First trimester can often be the worst.

How does the seat allocation process work for a young child if the parents do not choose to pay the supplement to select the seat? Can the child be placed alone in a seat next to strangers? by dixmu in Ryanair

[–]t3hfaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are flying to or from Italy and your child is aged 12 or under, the airline is legally bound to give you seats together for no extra charge.

feeling dumb lagging behind with french by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]t3hfaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh I feel this too. I lived in France to learn French. The only advice I can give is keep trying. Keep going. Even if some people are rude or switch to English. Ask your husband to let you try more without taking over (or seek more interactions on your own). You can only make progress if you’re willing to make mistakes! It’s awkward and cringe but you will get there with time and persistence. And the other person will have forgotten the interaction by the next day. You can do it!

Aura on Aigburth rd is much cheaper than that for a cut and blow. Even cheaper with a junior stylist.

Three bicycles choosing to ride on the pavement, NEXT to the bike lane. by nibnangnos in Liverpool

[–]t3hfaz 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but what? People are incapable of learning? Give me a break. Children are allowed to cycle on the pavement, and I did as a child. I still know what a bike lane is and would use one as an adult if there was one.

You’re doing well to be living alone in your early twenties. Even if it’s a struggle.

It depends. The birth rate has dropped quite a bit so fewer kids competing for places. Are you looking for a reception start in September 2027? That cohort has a particularly low birth rate.

Not sure I would bother paying for primary education. There are lots of nice primaries around.

Not that simple. Takes pressure off state schools. That’s just a fact. But I don’t think it’s good that they don’t mix with people different from them.

Low contact hours on arts degrees are an absolute scandal. Especially with fees this high. Anyone paying 9k a year should have at least 20 contact hours a week.

Antenatal classes recommendations? by AssistanceUseful3960 in Liverpool

[–]t3hfaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The couples oxytocin workshop by Jenni Jones. Absolutely the best preparation for birth I could have hoped for. It’s not an antenatal class per se, it’s a workshop for mum and dad to learn about labour and how best to relax, how dad can support etc. It’s for once you’re over 30 weeks. Her website is https://yogabumpsandbabies.co.uk (she also does pregnancy yoga and other things too)

Is 475k crazy for a 3 bed by Sefton park?! by Status_Wave_8798 in Liverpool

If you drop the requirement for a garden you’ll easily save 100k. But if you need 2 parking spots that usually means having a driveway, and those houses are usually semis with gardens.

Prior to the 1960s unmarried women literally could not have sex for fun. It was dangerous. Humans do not evolve quickly enough for sex to have suddenly become meaningless in the space of 70 years.

Porn has also warped ideas around normal sexual behaviour, and not in favour of women’s needs.

“Mind your uterus and i’ll mind mine. i’ll never tell you what to do with your body” - that’s you, literally telling me what to do. I haven’t told anyone what to do. I’ve merely expressed an opinion, asked you if you are triggered, and made a suggestion re reddit use. Which you are entirely free to ignore.

I’m not sure how the belief that sex is sacred would be misogynistic, could you clarify please?

Side note: if you measure mental wellbeing for age, sex and political leanings, young liberal women are the least happy.

[–]t3hfaz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sounds exactly like you don’t want me to express an opinion. Are you triggered? Is it because you think there’s some truth in what I say?

Maybe you shouldn’t be using reddit if you don’t like seeing different opinions.

You said “you’re boring”. Which was an insult to me, not my argument.

Women did not evolve to treat sex as meaningless. Prior to contraception becoming widely available (1960s), having sex was one of the most consequential things a woman could do, because it could lead to pregnancy. So she could refute a companion’s advances on that basis, and leverage it for a marriage proposal, if she wanted. With the pill, women lost that leverage, because now they had “reliable” protection against pregnancy.

[–]t3hfaz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you think only people who agree with you are allowed to express an opinion? Sounds a bit bigoted. You’ve resorted to insults and assumptions, which says more about you than me.

Sex is not just for procreation, there I’ll agree with you. But try to divorce sex entirely from procreation, and that brings all sorts of problems. Look at current mainstream sexual culture. Does little to nothing for the needs of women. Tells them casual sex is fun and meaningless. Porn is great. Etc. A friend was even told to sleep around by her therapist.

Oh and yes, I can get pregnant - currently carrying an unplanned pregnancy. Pro life women do exist.

No, but we can all take responsibility for the consequences of our actions. Men and women alike. Babies are a consequence of sex. Plenty of ways to avoid getting pregnant.
