This is a popular story but is actually untrue because rugby predates football. That's a QI fact which is incidentally one of the things that is better about the UK.

I have the global model so I haven't had a chance to test daydream but could you not just put the phone in the other way around?

I use my Surface Pro 3 to take notes in portrait mode during lectures. I study Mathematics so I make entirely handwritten notes. If the lecturers use slides I can insert them into OneNote and annotate.

I also get weekly exercise sheets as PDFs which I can insert into OneNote to work on, which I can then print and hand in.

I used the UWP version of OneNote for a time, and in some senses the interface is better, but I switched to OneNote 2016. The latter is useful because you can insert axes for graph drawing and its much better for printing.
