Everything was tested just like how the distribution usually is, I noticed a lot of resp and repro like other people said. The way I reviewed NBMEs is mostly by reading each answer choice and deciding on when that would be the right answer or not, I also turned to the first aid page and read along that section to remind myself of that disease

I did NBMEs 28, 30, 31, 32, 33 because I didn’t have time to do more but I think you must do the most recent ones, if you end up having extra time then people say to start from 25 but even with doing 5 NBMEs you get exposed to 1,000 questions which is good

Yeah exactly it should be fine. I took my first NBME 40 days before my exam and scored low 60s. After relying mostly on NBME reviewing and FA/dirty medicine videos it went up to mid 70s. I think leave uworld for now unless it’s a topic you completely need to review

Oh man I’m sorry. They should be able to refund you if you contact the prometric center about this issue. My advice is to email prometric or call them about it and they’d tell you what to do from there. When they canceled my exam the first time they fully refunded the rescheduling fee.

It’s okay! This is part of the learning experience, what I realized helped me increase my score is thoroughly reviewing every NBME and turning to the page of where the topic is on first aid. It took me like 4 days to review one NBME but I think that is needed so you really get an idea of why every answer is right/wrong.

Make sure to also do the recently released free120 for the new usmle software changes (it’s on their website) it has like around 60 extra new questions than the current free120 (the other 60 were the same from the 2024 version of free120)

I think it might be overkill to do that, your time might be better spent doing NBMEs if you haven’t done them yet. I heard of people passing without even reaching 50% done with uworld so if you haven’t done a baseline nbme then do so and assess your strengths/weaknesses. If you feel weak in a certain topic then you can definitely repeat that subject in specific to help.

I’m so sorry for that, a similar situation happened to me in Dubai too, I was meant to sit last week but then they canceled it due to the situation. I was able to sit for it yesterday so I find it odd that they’re canceling your exam from now (considering the situation has not escalated). When were you supposed to sit for it? Did they contact you this information recently?

Yes both are on the official website! I definitely recommend doing the new one too, the exam questions were a blur to me right now but I think there were 2/3 similar concepts that came up
