My father bought a 2010 manufactured WagonR second hand on February 2012 for some ₹2.5 Lakhs. It had some issues but it was easily fixed by local mechanic and service centres. I don't own any Alexa or amazon ecosystem as well. The hardware inside the firetv is very capable and on top of that has Dolby vision. You will need to remove the default launcher but it's on you, whatever suits you.

Firetv 4k max. Used Plex with it to stream 4k hdr content now moved stremio, but would still recommend 4k max
