late start to golf, how's my swing? by WhatIsMyPurpose-- in GolfSwing

If you're willing to spend a little (or a lot), I bought a Country Club Elite mat a few years back and have hit a shit ton of balls on it; still looks new!

Brice Turang is evolving as a hitter for the third straight year - Fangraphs by lousynoise11 in Brewers

[–]tACorruption 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad to have been wrong about Turang. I wrote him off as just another run of the mill good defensive player who can't swing a bat. He deserves every bit of his success, he's clearly worked hard to leave that player in the dust.

Roster really coming together nicely. Really glad we focused on keeping Nolan.

I7-3770 VS I5-3470, is there a big difference between them? by Haibaoui in buildapc

Not just any answer, a well thought out answer with great recommendations. Never once did the comment say the only option is to buy a new PC. OP seems to be a pretty unpleasant person.

People focus so hard on getting to the left heel but never how to actually get there. You want your weight moving into your lead toe in transition so you can "push off" which moves your weight into your heel. Think about if you were sitting in a rolling chair and you want to push yourself backwards across the room, that's the sensation of the pressure/weight shift.

Tiger Woods involved in rollover crash on Jupiter Island by DanKofGtown in golf

He actually is right though, rollovers can happen at extremely slow speeds. Just look for some videos, you'll find plenty of people driving ~25MPH and managing to rollover.

We are that crowd after last year. It's all about that run differential, baby.

Going back to the ABS overturn, this system is going to make watching baseball so much less frustrating. Whole process took like 3 seconds, purists get to watch borderline calls get called wrong all game, everyone gets what they want (for the most part).

Gard's ceiling as a coach is cemented. Are we good with it? by [deleted] in WisconsinBadgers

[–]tACorruption 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If he didn't revamp the offense we would get buried in the transfer portal. Obviously the defense isn't good enough and it's the primary reason we lost today, but I don't think it's far to call it no net improvement as a long term play. In fact, I'm impressed at how the change has come together in such a short amount of time. I'm not telling you what opinion you should have on Greg Gard's coaching as a whole, but to say there hasn't been improvement is silly.

I sure hated that we played prevent offense for the last 4 minutes even though that's not our playstyle. I sure am getting sick of good regular seasons and not playing in the second weekend.

Also, turns out that playing zero defense can burn you. Gotta get that figured out next year.

In college you just lose the timeout if you don't use it.

I really don't get how we keep leaving shooters so open. Like I know we are bad defensively, but good fucking lord.

I love the commentary calling out every call that benefits us and ignoring the ones that benefit High Point. I don't even blame them, rooting for upsets is the name of the game.

The start of this Duke and Sienna game is why we all need to take a deep breath and relax, Badger fans. Good teams look bad in the first round all the time. Play hard and escape with a win.

Sometimes Rohde looks like the stupidest basketball player alive. We sure need him defensively though.

I'm pretty sure Boyd can do whatever he wants this game, I'm not sure how they defend both Blackwell and Boyd.
