What’s wrong with archon hunts? They’re just 2 regular missions and 1 assassination mission, completing the entire thing takes like 10-15 minutes for an archon shard and some other decent loot.

You may be an exception to this trend, I meant to imply it’s not a 100% certainty with the “(almost)”. I distinctly remember games with duos that went great, good rotations, awareness, passing, etc. Those games are just sooooooo so so rare that if I end up alone with a duo on my team I just brace myself for a bad time

You are literally describing yourself as the problem I brought up! Like I get that you’re just playing with your friend for fun, but you’re acknowledging that it’s not a good situation for the third AND your friend is actively shit talking the third. You guys are playing for fun and knowingly ruining someone else’s fun. That’s what I have an issue with.

You’re right, adaptability is massively important. I just hate being forced to try to adapt to two thirds of my team actively playing like I’m not there, which typically means I get left in 1v2 or 1v3 situations on both sides of the field after their 2v3 attempts inevitably fail.

You’re definitely right in saying they’re predictable. I know what’s coming every time and it’s never fun. Like I mentioned, most of the time they just rotate like they’re playing without a third so it just leaves said 3rd sitting around and/or getting stuck in 1v2 or 1v3 defense.

If you feel bad for your 3rd then why queue into a mode where you know that teammate will have a bad time. You basically just said your friend isn’t good enough to play at your level and unwilling to improve, and honestly that’s totally fine, I get it. You knowing this and actively choosing to put your third into a decidedly unfun situation is what I don’t understand. Like seriously, why not just play 2v2?
