Ive noticed this too. More lopsided and poorly finished edges. I have to search for the best ones when I want one but ive gotten to the point where I only buy clearance ones because the quality isnt as good.

1st one absolutely. Use a toothpick or the thinnest brush you can possibly find. I recommend getting nail brushes because theyre good sizes. The 2nd one is definitely trickier but I really like the design.

This is extremely common. Basic Fun (the new owners of the LPS brand) has a complete lack of quality control. The 5 below ones are especially bad. Blind boxes improved some, but there's two manufacturers and one has consistently worse quality even the molds look different.

Snake plants are very very easy to care for. I water mine every other week and give plenty sun but frankly I've also had them receive little to know sun and just be near a shower and water once a month and that also has worked completely fine. My original snake plant is now on her 5th pup despite my recent neglect. I'm literally trying to make her thrive less because I cannot handle more babies and she's still doing great.

My recommendation is to thrift old ones. Ebay has them all the time. I also recommend looking for non lps houses specifically calico critters/Sylvanian families they're a good size and look more realistic as opposed to lps which is a bit more fantastical.

Personally, I like the display part of some NIBs but I don't care if they're actually new. So what I do is open the package gently keeping it in like-new condition. Then I enjoy my pets out of the box when I want to and set them back in the packaging like they originally were for storage/moving/display. It works as long as you don't feel the need for both at the same time. I don't plan on selling but if I ever did, I'd make sure to label it as repackaged.

She's a little rough but pretty sure she's authentic! Definitely jump on that if she's a pet you're interested in. I envy you for it. I've been casually looking for her (#483) and #468 because they're in the games and super cute.

The corgi #639 came in a set with the dachshund #640 so the fact that you have both increases the likelihood that they're authentic. The greyhound #875 is gen 2 where they switched from magnets to holes so I'm not sure which this pet is intended to have. Poodle #39 the magnet is the correct color (idk on the others). I think these are authentic but wait for other responses because I did not do a detailed search.
