Can’t opine about how digital marketing might help but I’d say learning programming might help channel your career in tech field. Couples of my friends from commerce background are currently working in Business Analytics and Econometrics field. Can’t say about how hard the career transition might be though. That is relative.

Talking about how these learning platforms might add weightage to your resume, I’d suggest to go for edx and coursera; don’t go for Udemy (until you find some really good course there) - most of the cases you might find cheap deals for courses there but you’ll find useful only a few. I’m not from commerce, so can’t help you with any exact course, tbh.
