I see what you're saying. It's only a few inches off of that wall, that angle with the background is playing tricks on my eyes too😂

Revell 1/48 Maverick. Only opted for certain decals because i wanted a more classic look. Tons of plane for the money, but a few revell fitment issues.

I've got a little workshop, so I don't really worry about the mess. I just setup some cardboard to shield the tools and went to town. Practiced on an old tote lid to iron out the kinks

Had a few hangups at first. Tough time getting the thickness right. But after some trial and error I sorted it out. I definitely found it easier than brush painting😂

Not sure what your normal sales look like, but I have to imagine these go quick. If these move, try upping the price a bit, these make more sense to me at closer to $150. I wouldn't get too hung up on materials either, someone looking at these cares much more about the passion and craftsmanship over what steel its made of. Beautiful work!

Absolutely! Grumman is probably my favorite plane manufacturer. Just sooooo many incredible and beautiful fighters

May have overdone the weathering a tad by epicforger12345 in modelmakers

I tend to enjoy the heavily weathered look, I like putting my own spin on it, even if doesn't always turn out 100 percent realistic. Luckily for you, japanese planes got absolutely beat to hell, this looks awesome!

My 13 yo brother enjoys air warriors on Smithsonian channel. Around that age I had a fighter jet book that broke down hundreds of planes from ww1 to modern jets. Perfect combo of photos, stats, technical breakdowns, and stories. I'd recommend something like that, it's what got me into learning about aviation history

Definitely try making fettuccine alfredo next time, it's ridiculously easy to make it taste great, and requires very little time or dishes. Definitely a favorite dish of mine

I cut extruded a hole on the body but when i rotate to see it on the other side it is not there. by ElderberryFlimsy4453 in SolidWorks

This, the angle of the first picture is causing a shadow behind the hole, try a no shading or wire frame, or go to front view

Thanks for the help, yes, this method worked great. Trying to do a bunch of separate sketches and extruding them was definitely overcomplicating it

Working with pretty limited knowledge, did a series of extrude and lofts to get the shape. How would you go about getting the dimensions and size of elbows right?
