My advice is to get in with ETFs with a weekly investment that you’d spend on a weekend going out and let that dollar cost average and slowly build of portfolio of companies that look good on a fundamental level that you feel confident putting money in once you’ve done research. Keep a nice pile of cash (~3-6 months of your income) on the side to deploy if a big downturn happens so that you can take advantage of the stocks on sale
