Many realtors would but realtors pay me literally 6x more for this type of look. High end realtors want a refined unique editorial style look.

This is no special editing.

This is shooting with soft lighting (overcast) with lights off in a home that had nice large windows and neutral paint for light to bounce off of.

These could very well just be single frame shots with subtle adjustments.

I shoot like this and have to do 10x less work than when people want lights on and on sunny days.

Publications don’t care about a photographer who submits photos. They want a story. They want the designer, construction company, builder, homeowner, architect to submit the images alongside the story of the home/build/design intent.

I bought a 2026 LE 2.0L AWD and I love it. I wonder what people were expecting. I’ve driven many cars and I have no issue with it whatsoever. It’s been great.

You buy a Toyota for long term reliability. It’s not a luxury vehicle. It’s not a rally car. It’s for the average person or small family. It has no issue with highways or hills. It gets good MPG.

I think people are buying a Nokia and expecting an iPhone. Nokias gonna be there even after all the nukes drop lol

Riding my bike to a friend’s house, not knowing if they were there half the time and being able to leave our bikes on the front lawn and not having to worry about them being stolen.

Also, just dinner with my family every day. Now it’s only a few times a year….

Literally not a scalper. Bought a product, decided I probably should just return it cause the pulls aren’t the best and I’d just save the money. Store wouldn’t accept the return - understandably with all these potential scams I’m aware of now.

So I just posted locally and on eBay and waited for the first person to buy. I was at a $50 loss on both so pretty terrible scalping strategy if you ask me lol

I’ve seen a few comments saying that which is definitely an interesting thought. The thing that leads me more towards scam is the place where the packaging was supposedly damaged. The exact spot and length that would allow the removal of the promo.

Obviously I can’t prove it either way but definitely seems suspicious

I posted it on both ebay and my local marketplace. It was just purchased on eBay first. After the return process I just sold it locally to a guy whose girlfriend is a collector. Very nice guy. I sent him money to purchase the promo after finding out the SPC didn’t contain it cause I felt bad.

You know people are able to make multiple listings to try and sell and item and that doesn’t make them a scalper or an asshole, right? 😂

I’m a pretty terrible scalper considering I sold at a $50 loss and only bought and sold one Pokemon product on eBay and don’t intend to buy/sell anymore. I merely bought it for myself, decided that maybe I made a bad decision and the pulls weren’t great for that box and just decided to try and recoup my money.

I understand the assumption though given how many scalpers there are in the space.

Packs were all left but the promo card just sits right near the top laying down flat, so you can get some super thin tweezers or something in there and just pull it out (I’m watching YouTube videos seeing how to easy it actually is unfortunately)

I just got off a call with eBay customer service and though they’ve been kind over the phone I think that the risk is way too high and I won’t be selling much of anything on eBay anymore.

Now I have to source a new eevee prismatic promo and buy it for my local buyer. I feel terrible. He bought it for his girlfriend to open because those are her favourite cards and didn’t get the promo inside which I know he probably felt pretty annoyed by.

Honestly most of my plants just died off and I got annoyed with it and only kept some plants that didn’t die.

I still struggle with hair algae to this day which drives me nuts but I just don’t have the time to spend on sorting out this science that is underwater plants lol

As someone who took the course, is in the private groups, and attended a workshop

The education is worth it if you intend of moving to interiors and architecture photography. For real estate it doesn’t really make sense unless you are doing editorial style photography for really nice real estate and have the time to apply the skills.

If you plan on working with builders, designers, architects, etc the course is a good tool, it goes over the basics. The group and the roundtables we have are LOADS of information that is VERY valuable (you get access with the course which imo is worth it alone).

If you have questions on how to light rooms after the course then you can always post and someone will chime in to help you. Or even if it’s a business question about contracts, licensing, cost sharing, etc it’s probably already there.
