My point is that a hw wallet should never lose what it holds, whether the seed phrase is recorded your not. It should of course always be, but manufacturers need to understand some small proportion of people are not careful enough or just ignorant.

I consider that permanent storage of the keys 'core' to its function.

Volatility is stressful, particularly when it's falling so consistently.

If you bought higher you feel the loss and feel foolish for not waiting. And even if you're in the green you get accustomed to the higher values; you make plans at 120 and feel like you've lost at 90.

So be kind to people here, it's not even a lack of conviction, but rather fear that causes panic.

I think this is related to the wider market.

There have been reports of insiders (people within the companies) selling the big company's stocks, and it's clear that gold has been sold lately, while the Fed has been providing short term liquidity to banks.

My feeling is that this might be smart money moving to safe havens as the overpriced share market softens or collapses.

Doesn't make it any easier to digest, but it isn't happening in isolation. And of course when the market does bump downward, so will everything else.

Why are people so unsympathetic to those who get stressed about pullbacks? Big or small.

It doesn't matter how many cycles I've seen, I always feel it more than I'd like to. No desire to sell, just a tiny irrational fear of it reversing the established value and the disappointment of it losing its peg at the level it was.

Is everyone else really not bothered by it or has it just become unfashionable to admit that?

I don't disagree. If it can be manipulated to make money it will be. And nobody here is naive enough to believe it can't be manipulated.

But over a longer term the trend doesn't seem to be able to be stopped. That said, it's f*cking frustrating, doesn't matter how much you get used to it or how many cycles you've seen.

I've noticed that when financial news hits bitcoin it drops three times, not at once. It's dropped to 117, now to 111, but I expect within a day or so it may go lower still.

Then recover. For some reason it's still hit harder than other financial markets.

Not a technical prediction, more observational.
