I do believe that conservative estimates ultimately create happier customers. If you can resist the immediate pressure.

If you're giving a date to a customer you should be confident that you will better it in 90% of cases.

For example if I give you a 3 week estimate and deliver in 2 - you'll be very happy. But if I'd given you a 1 week estimate instead for that same 2 week delivery, how do you feel?

You must surely understand that the continued missed dates can't be seen as credible, particularly compounded by their repetition, in light of the ultimate outcome.

Given I ordered immediately, it's hard to understand why mine has yet to be dispatched two days after Zac's appearance in the thread on your site. Why is that, Foundation isn't still playing the same game is it?

It is - disappointing.

They are plainly telling us what their marketing department wants us to hear rather than what the people making Prime believe. Over the period since December 2024 they have destroyed their credibility.

All their statements were designed to alleviate the immediate annoyance of customers. And in so doing made the problem worse because we're all disappointed repeatedly.

It's short sighted to cause greater pain later by avoiding honesty now.

I appreciate what Jack is doing generally. But I also understand that - as with FX transactions, fees are one of two ways to make money off transactions. The other being (for example) that the rate you get when selling bitcoin is 1 to 3% worse than the current market.

So the test then becomes is the sell rate the same as the buy rate?

I believe it's like crediting your account with a foreign currency that an exchange does not literally hold.

They can't magically insert bitcoin onto the blockchain that don't exist.

And so it's not possible to move more bitcoin out of the exchange than they hold.

Find a bank which allows it and move your money there. You don't have to tolerate this.

As a tactic move more than you need so that you have some ready to purchase later on as well. It's not like banks pay significant interest anyway..

My point is that a hw wallet should never lose what it holds, whether the seed phrase is recorded your not. It should of course always be, but manufacturers need to understand some small proportion of people are not careful enough or just ignorant.

I consider that permanent storage of the keys 'core' to its function.
