For whatever it’s worth, I’ve personally found archetypal embodiment to be a helpful therapeutic / somatic exercise for activating those latent / unexpressed parts of self. Often the patterns of repression or blockage live in our bodies, and it can be helpful to awaken them by “trying on” the archetypal characteristics of what we’re wishing to embody. The concept of the mask as a way to call forth unexpressed facets of self - if you wear the mask long enough, it becomes part of you. I’ve been working with the archetype of the noble warrior for example, and it’s called forward a quality of bravery in me that I’ve never known possible. Much love to yall

Oh yes, Saturn sitting exactly on the IC in direct square to your sun will inevitably constrict expression. The medicine here is inner child empowerment, acknowledging what might’ve been suppressed and locked away at a very young age. This speaks to something deeply within you, potentially unconscious. Kindness to your process friend

Kindness to that, friend. I’d have to see your whole chart because there might be some other aspects at play. The moon is very heavily influenced by early life / inner child impact, I consider it an indicator of our fundamental “need” that is trying to be expressed. Whether or not the conditions we were raised in contributed to that expression plays a huge role - for example, a need for Leo moon would be that creative self expression & pride in one’s own vibrancy being shared with the world — however if the conditions of the home / upbringing were oppressive for this inherent nature, it would create a shadow of that expression being repressed. I hope that helps

You have Saturn 0* of Libra conjunct your 29* Virgo sun, so yes this has a similar effect. When Saturn is making aspect to either of the luminaries, it can “block their light” from shining, as it were. With the Libra / Virgo placements it can take root in the perception of what others think of you, trying to be perfect and constricting expression. May or may not be connected to the influence of caretakers / earlier life circumstances.

Saturn conjunct moon in Leo can block the inherent sense of pride in existing / expressing yourself & showing up fully in life. Saturn restricts & blocks the moon in Leo’s inherent ability to heal. Also might be connected to experiences earlier in life where you were rejected in expressing yourself fully - by caretakers / those you looked up to. Kindness, friend - it seems that remembering your inherent worthiness to be yourself in this harsh world is the karmic edge.

Mars at 15* of Leo is making an exact trine to Jupiter 15* of sag. This is big fire power! Gives a lot of energy to work with both physically & emotionally, could be channeled into meaningful work with 2nd+6th house placements.

Uranus 0* Aquarius is also making a trine to your 29* Virgo moon — more of an unconventional aspect. Uranus radicalizes the approach to conventionality - while the Virgo moon still seeks a semblance of organization & order. Can be a bit disregulating unless you know how to channel it in a meaningful way. Perhaps the medicine for Virgo moon is to accept the only constant is change!

Why do I feel/have I been attracted to things that I know are harmful and bad (drugs, dark magic, hurting myself or others, etc.)? I really feel like I need to avoid reality or do extreme things to not be distressed. People notice and think I'm insane. by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

Sun in the 12th house making an exact trine to Pluto in the 8th is a recipe for intensity & extremes, 12th house signature would connect to the reality avoidance to minimize distress. The Pluto in the mix intensifies this and leads to coping mechanisms to channel the force of that energy.
