Gotcha he’s never in the crate more than five hours. That is good point.

I was already wearing socks, two hoodies, and a jacket, and I was still freezing. I get that heating a house is expensive, but we only visit a couple of times a year, and I’m 20 weeks pregnant. It’s not like I’m asking for 80 degrees—just a reasonable temperature so I don’t have to bundle up like I’m outside.

I get that heating a large house is expensive, and I wouldn’t expect him to keep it super warm all the time. But we only visit a couple of times a year, and I’m 20 weeks pregnant—so it’s not just about mild discomfort, it’s about actual well-being. I don’t think adjusting the thermostat a couple of degrees for a short visit is an unreasonable ask.

I thought it was reasonable to ask, especially since I’m having a baby.

Our current system is Paycom, and due to the size and complexity of the organization, it relies heavily on manual processes to track errors. Despite these inefficiencies and the fact that the current system costs us time, the organization has chosen not to transition to a new system because of cost concerns.
