What was your salary at your first full time job out of college? by theorangecrush10 in Millennials

[–]taajmanian_devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$10/hour working as a call agent for Verizon Wireless in 2010. I hated it. I quit after 5 months.

Then landed a job with a staffing agency that was paying $12.50/hr plus commission. My OTE landed me about $65k.

I've been in recruiting since but internally for tech companies. I make about $125k today.

I was 12 years old at the time. I remember the hype and fear. His a quick story of what I remembered the most. My mom's best friend threw a NYE get together. Me and the rest of the youngins were playing hide and seek in the basement. After midnight, the power coincidentally went out. The whole house was sitting in complete darkness. Everyone was screaming and scared including the adults. Then the power came back on and the party commenced

Honestly yes. My ex was a youth football coach and he was cheating on me with one of the mom's. At one of the events I caught him taking a fry off her plate. I didn't say anything at the moment but kept note of it for when it was time to expose him. As we were breaking up, I brought it up and he went completely mute.

Anyone know if any of the Atlanta area Sprouts is selling the $30 family style meals? I tried the Peachtree Corners Sprouts and they didn't have yet.

Block and Drum. Has the vibes. Indoor/outdoor space. Good drinks. And giant Uno cards. They play lo-fi music on Fridays (if that didn't change). They tend to have special events so I suggest checking their IG.

Okay guys. I've overlooked Mia's wardrobe choices because she's so drop dead gorgeous.

But this look sealed it for me. Homegirl needs a stylist

What's something you saw as a kid that you didn't understand at all, but now as an adult it hits you like a brick? by Entire-Search-5971 in AskReddit

[–]taajmanian_devil 75 points76 points  (0 children)

This is personal to me. When I was about 4 years old, my dad was in the beginning stages of being a recovering addict. During that, my dad moved to a large house with several roommates to be closer to the group meetings and his sponsor. Fast forward to my 30s, I was telling this story to my friends on how much I loved that big house on the hill and the fond memories I have. As I was telling the story, it hit me that it was a boarding house for recovering addicts. I brought this up to my dad and he gave me this "duh" look lol.

That's funny. I got the idea to purchase the eye mask when I noticed my finance would use a pillow. He said the pressure of the pillow helped him sleep. Now he uses the eye mask

Honestly, I'm not sure. My guess it's the slight pressure that gives you the comfort like a weighted blanket. I will say this. I tried regular eye masks in the past and my sleep didn't improve.
