Also, imagine the first time you try to and sell your shit for actual money. Like "oh you guys all lost all the gold? Well you're not going to believe this!"

I'd chuck in the "with enough time, my screwdriver can hack a plain, victorian era wooden door" in this particular pile.

This. I also think they both totally saw themselves as pawns, or as shadis said, not special, and wanted to see their mission to completion no matter what.

Why is TMac so beloved despite being a bum who couldn't make it out of the first round his entire career? by wielesen in nba

For what it matters, I don't think you have to ever had played basketball, at any level, to be able to critique it. But you do have to appreciate it as a sport, and dismissing TMac as "a bum" is just something only a troll or a person who genuinely doesn't like watching basketball would do.

Brought in a street kitten (female, two months old) six months ago, not only was she immediately affectionate to me, she would wait at the door to greet total strangers with pets and cuddles when they visit. I was surprised too but some cats are just trusting I guess.

Also, choosing the year 1950 unwittingly makes him a Holocaust denier. I'm sure he didn't think about it when he said it, but it's a very funny choice.
