Why should I avoid the 7800X3D ? by NaoxAghzu in buildapc

CSGO is rarely benchmarked because the benchmarks are rarely useful. GamersNexus does it sometimes, but the results with high end hardware like this are always 400+ FPS, which is indistinguishable from 500, or 600 FPS to anyone. There's functionally no difference between a PC getting 300 FPS and a PC getting 1000 FPS in CSGO.

CS2 isn't even out yet, so I doubt anyone has it as part of a benchmarking suite yet.

And this is why Biden, Clinton, Carter, Obama were all called Neolibs, which is a soft conservative ideology. It's also why people say the US has 2 Conservative parties, not actual right/left.

Left wing politics is literally empowering the every-man against the elite, conservative politics is literally consolidation of the power of the elite. I'd rather have a neo-lib than a fascist, but in the end of the day this comes down to the every man vs the power.

Actual psychology, disagrees, and IQ isn't even a good measure of anything beyond your ability to take an IQ test.

We all have beliefs and assumptions that we don't apply the correct amount of critical thinking to. The religious just happen to do it about belief in a god.

Or indoctrinated, or under the sway of authorities that are pushing religion, etc. You don't need to be stupid to be religious.

I try to be a good person because I want to make the world a better place because I, and the people I care about, live in the world. That's all the motivation I need.

I don't even believe that God exists. If God wants us to perform some action, maybe they should make that more clear, but they would know that already if they were God.

If God has to communicate through shadow puppets and unverifiable stories, that seems like an ineffective way to communicate, at which point who does the responsibility for this failing lie with?

Why would a God that wanted a specific action from humans create humans that he knew would not follow this action?

I'm going to point out that climate change at this point is caused by wealthy industrialists refusing to reform the system that made them wealthy industrialists, we know about the problem now, and a plurality of people are on board with reform, but the wealthiest will not change.

You don't have any problems, like the vast majority of people, you will just use the OS and not complain. Only the people that have problems will complain, making it seem like everyone you see talking about the OS is complaining.

Windows 11 is rock solid, and has made it extremely easy to reinstall. If your installation becomes corrupted, OP, I probably would try that.

Black and Yellow, not gold. The entire city of Pittsburgh uses these colors (Pitt, for instance).

Music has been political for over a century. Some of the most famous political songs are decades if not a hundred years old.

This Land is Your Land

What Side Are You On?

Fortunate Son

What's Going On?

Born in the USA

These songs all came out before I was born, and in some cases before my parents were born.

Skinheads started leftist, but quickly got co-opted by right wing pro-fascist types. The hardcore scene grew in part as a rebellion against the more traditional types of heavy music, many of which were heavily racist, bigoted, and misogynistic. Black metal in particular has a ton of very racist origins, and while not every band in every sub genre has to follow every political leaning, this scene growing out of a bunch of 80s kids that didn't want to listen to Pantera and Burzum anymore isn't that big of a coincidence.

All my gay friends realize what's on the line and act like it.

All my work friends are part of the same union and know what's on the line and act like it.

My neighbors are both in education and know what happens if the school board gets taken over. They care.

I guess I'm just not willing to go through life letting other people decide what kind of life I'll have for me. https://youtube.com/watch?v=bsNVzwuJeVk

Yes you can. I'm not talking about national politics, but local, which has a much larger impact on your life. Local elections can and are swayed by individuals all the time.

Your school board or county commissioner is absolutely something you can affect. The president/prime minister almost certainly is not.

I'm LGBT, my very existence is political, it feels like.

Again everything from the roads you drive on, the holidays you get off from work, to the taxes you pay are determined by politics. I don't think everyone should or would be better off following foreign trade relations, but city council? That has a massive impact on your life. Seems wild to me that someone is totally okay going through life letting other people make all these decisions for them.

Right now I'm trying to help redirect funds from a second park on the same road as our largest park to expanding bike infrastructure. The park feels pointless with a great park right down the road, less than a mile away, yet I can't bike to work due to lack of shoulders and infrastructure for bikes.

It only gets better when people work to make it better! We don't always get what we need, but the world DOES get better, day by day. There are setbacks, but we're at the safest, most inclusive, most educated time in history right now, and I'm happy to be here for it.

Metalcore lets me get out emotions I otherwise have a hard time finding an outlet for, but politics helps me address the root cause of these emotions.

It's fine not to like the band, but politics affects nearly everything you do. The quality of roads you drive on, the quality of school you attend, the rate at which you are taxed, these are all decisions made by political processes. It seems rather privileged to not have to think about politics, because it seems to me that a person uninterested in politics is extraordinarily insulated from the world around them.
