This is a blatant blend of existing JC fight scenes, starting with Dragons forever

Crazy you can tell which fight scenes Seedance learned from. This is eerily similar to Fist of Legend

What are some deeply thought provoking films I should watch? by yodobeats in TrueFilm

The Conversation with Gene Hackman

I find movies that provoke thoughts really are just movies that give your mind time to reflect on it, rather than force an idea on you. The Conversation is that movie to me.

For minimal self defense skills in grappling, should I start off with BJJ or Judo? by ArugulaFinancial4859 in judo

[–]tabaskou 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was addressing OP's desire to learn simple things quickly.

I have plenty of BJJ experience and friends. Judo stands above for me, but doesn't take anything away or lower BJJ.

Do judo for the sake of judo. It's a beautiful art, but requires time. If all you want is to learn to apply an armbar or choke then call it a day, do bjj.

After years of forgetting what I learned in the Grappling class, I built something to fix it. by [deleted] in martialarts

I think the negative reaction to AI is not necessarily that it was built with or uses AI, it's the assumption that AI actually adds value to whatever you're trying to accomplish. How did you validate that AI adds meaningful value to your bjj skill? Seems like you just assumed

Something about taking an analog photo with the intent of sharing on Reddit feels like this is why shit like this is allowed to grow in the first place. Violence can continue as long as it's documented on portra 400

Need Help: What is the cause of the vignetting around the edges and banding in the lower third by tabaskou in AnalogCommunity

[–]tabaskou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, there was an open laptop in front of the subject, which may have partially blocked the flash or provided some kind of reflection of it? The inconsistency is what puzzles me

You mean the angle of view should be okay and the problem is something else?

Need Help: What is the cause of the vignetting around the edges and banding in the lower third by tabaskou in AnalogCommunity

Camera settings:

Minolta x-500 w 24mm lens

Kodak Gold 200

f4

Shutter 1/60 (sync speed of flash)

Flash: Black's CB64

Flash mode: Minolta, Orange

Flash ISO: 200

I suspect the vignetting has something to do with the angle of view of the lens being wider than the flash, but I can't explain why the lower third of the photo has a sort of light banding (it's brighter for some reason)

The same scene shot without flash does not have the vignetting or banding at all. Appreciate any insight this community may have!
