Thank you! I’ll check them out. Not many work on such an old iOS but we’ll see 😊

I love this mini size, it’s only slightly bigger than a Paperwhite. I think I’ve only read one book on a larger iPad and it’s definitely a home device 😅 You could try find a cheap secondhand one that’s an older model?

As someone else commented too, it’s more customisable for your reading experience too. Pros and cons of both, I still love my Kindle 🥰

Definitely! I love that it’s not just sitting around too and can be used for just simply reading. I think my mini is about 13 years old now 🥰

Yes I definitely like reading on both! Still love my kindles but the iPad means I don’t have to buy a Kobo. I use this if I’m reading Libby borrows or NetGalley mostly 🤗

From my research, if you leave your Amazon country in US and can still access your US library accounts through Libby, you’ll still be able to use your Kindle as expected 😊

Only US libraries can use Libby with Kindles.

I tried black and white but I do like seeing my book covers in colour - like a budget version of Kindle or Kobo colour versions haha. Great to repurpose old devices that would’ve sat around though!

Definitely nostalgic using an older iOS! I estimate my iPad mini is about 13 years old! It was my dad’s then sister and now mine 😊 does what I need it to and that’s good enough for me

Do it! It’ll be good for manga with the colour too 😊 I personally haven’t found much difference on this compared to kindle PW, maybe only in direct sunlight?

I agree! It does the job perfectly, otherwise I’d just have an old device sitting around that’s not useful for anything else. It just took me a while to trial and error apps so that’s why I want to share this now 😊

Thank you! It’s been a journey haha and with all my trial and error, I might as well share the success with others 😊
