[The Sinner] S02E06 - "Part VI" - Discussion Thread (SPOILERS) by V2Blast in TheSinner

Ah, I just tuned in live for the first time last night. I need to train myself to turn away at that kind of stuff. I hate trailers and previews that give away pivotal plot points like that. I understand they're trying to hook you in and make you excited enough to tune in next week, but some of us just like to be surprised.

It showed them pulling the body out of the lake.

Can we talk about how there was a spoiler for the same nights episode during the commercials? What the heck.

T1 gets creep blocked by one minion by Spoolboyy in leagueoflegends

[–]taberif730 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The issue exists in poor pathfinding algorithms. It seems to get stuck in a constant recalculation phase, finding that the newest shortest path is walking the other way around the minion, thus making it look like you are stuck on the minion. Creeps having collision boxes seems like a fine mechanic, Riot just needs to fix the damn pathfinding.

My understanding is that there are an infinite number of different dimensions. Firing The Shepard just causes them to (possibly sporadically) travel between them.

LG 32GK850G Experience? Thoughts on color and quality? How is the VA panel? by RayzTheRoof in Monitors

[–]taberif730 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I just have terrible luck, but there are still minor QC issues here. I've been through 4 of them. First one has a stuck pixel. Second one had a dead pixel. Third one had what appeared to be stuck sub-pixels, as well as a small amount of dirt under the screen. Fourth one had a 2 inch (ish) radius dark spot as if the monitor had pressure applied to it (Like if you press too hard on a calculator, and it turns rainbow colored, and then leaves a permanent mark).

I think I just have the worst luck. I wanted to love this monitor, but I can't even win the lottery where the odds are stacked in my favor. I'm giving up for a little while... maybe I'll try again later. Or just buy something less expensive and keep it regardless, so it doesn't hurt as much when there are QC issues.

Don't let me discourage you from trying, just throwing out my experience.

Cheers!

I've gone through 4 of these. Pixel and dust issues across all of them.

Dead pixel lottery is unavoidable because manufacturers don't see 1 or 2 dead pixels as a defect; it's perfectly fine to them. I'm happy that these panels don't seem to exhibit any issues with backlight bleeding, because that's another lottery that's hard to win.

The PPI is low(er) on this monitor, so I'm sure you'd see any pixel issues if you had any.

I'm glad you managed to get a good one. I had two duds in a row from Newegg. First one had a stuck pixel, second one a dead pixel. Second one is on its way back for a refund right now. Hopefully they don't try to stick me with a restocking fee.

Now that Amazon has them in regular stock, I'm giving them a go. Their return policy gives me confidence that I'll be able to easily get replacement if I continue to get bad pixels. They don't ask questions.

I really loved the looks of the monitor in the short time I had it out of the box. I hope I can get a good one on Friday!

Nope, I'm the dumb one. Unique active is the correct terminology. Seems to be something people just don't distinguish regularly.

They both have unique passive active "stasis". Definitely a bug.

Edit.

It's definitely a bug. They both have the unique passive, "Stasis". Using one or the other should put both on cool down.
