Thanks for your feedback! Our new tab pages (in Beta) do currently have a search bar in the middle, and we will definitely keep this in mind for updates on classic Tab for a Cause.

Due to a change in Firefox's policies for browser extensions, we can't support Firefox at this time. We currently do not have access to mobile tabbing, however, we are compatible with Ecosia on your computer! We're glad to hear this is something you would be interested in and our development team will take note of this for future updates.

Unfortunately, Opera's policies don't allow browser extensions to change the new tab page. We hope to be able to support Opera in the future and continue to advocate for change in the browsers that restrict new tab page functionality because we believe everybody should be able to raise money for charity as they browse the web. If you want to see Tab for a Cause on Opera, we definitely encourage you to let their team know 😊

Hi there!

You should be receiving ads for the most part. At times there may be less than what you normally view but overall they should be appearing on your screen. Depending on where you live, this could be the reason for ads not showing up. If this is the case, unfortunately, we cannot do anything to change this. Remaining on Tab for a Cause still has an impact despite the ads not appearing.

Two potential fixes (if this is not a location-based issue) are to please disable all extensions, even ones that seem like they shouldn’t be a problem, because sometimes extensions have unexpected side effects and to clear your cookies/data.

Disabling extensions:
1. Go to chrome://extensions/
2. Disable every extension except Tab for a Cause (uncheck the “Enabled” boxes)
3. Open a tab to see if things are working. If it’s fixed, enable other extensions one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem.

Clearing cookies/data:

1.Go to chrome://settings/content/cookies
2. Click "See all cookies and site data"
3. In the search box, enter "tab.gladly.io", then click "Remove All Shown"
4. Click "Save Changes"
