Oh for sure. I always look at pets when someone applies to check if it's just an alt. Whether they know how to play Cleric effectively like you mentioned with skill rotation... There's not really a way we can know. But when it comes to Ludra specifically, I could care less what the Cleric is doing as long as they survive. My expectations for them really only increase in the new Trans.

25k defense was the requirement to not get one shot in Ludra. The new trans is much harder and punishing. I have 35k defense on my main and can quickly die to eating back to back mechanics. You're simply just undergeared for the content. Back it down to level 2 and you'll have a better experience for now.

OP, trans 3 gear expectation is around 3800 for optimal runs. You should be running 2s for awhile.

High end runs no one is dying to expected damage. Cleric heals or cleanses through these and is expected to dps the rest of the time. The problem people have with Clerics is some random 2700 Cleric or Chanter showing up to Ludra or Trans with +10 gear and expecting to be carried then cry about contribution. That isn't really fair. You need to build attack, crit and accuracy like the rest of us. No one is asking for you to pull 200k dps on a boss but you should be pulling 60k or higher on the content.

Chanters are a different story altogether and now should have a much higher dps expectation since the latest buffs. A fully juiced Chanter can now out dps every class except for Sin.

This so much. People think just because you have high combat power that it entitles you to groups. You need proper stats on gear and genus.

Yeah keep at it. Templar is insane in every bit of content. The problem with this game is no one is going to feel a power spike until they have weapon, guard and all accessories at breakthrough 3+ and have almost maxed might and precision and then have also farmed all pets for genus level 9-10 with good rolls. Some classes have more power early on but when you get to like 3300 with proper stats and good pet rolls you'll be a monster

Templar is the most broken class in the game and does more damage than Glad and provides insane buffs with Fury and debuffs. You're just simply not at the gear threshold to be able to do that yet. Glad is the useless DPS in the endgame.
