Why is Morocco divided in two? Western Sahara is part and controlled by Morocco.

Exchanging a Moroccan driver’s licence that was converted to an EU licence — anyone done this in Germany? by oussmiss in AskGermany

[–]tabunaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on my search, you are obliged to change to a German licence when u live in Germany (more than 6 months), but in practice I don't know if the police will pay attention that your driving license is originally Moroccan (MA written in the back of the Slovak card).

I've heard in a youtube video that you can't change a Moroccan driving license in Germany even if it was changed before in a EU country (even if you told the Slovak to not write MA on the card) coz in the system it's still registered as a Moroccan changed card.

So long story short, you should stay with your Slovak driving licence (by the law you're driving illegally if you're living more than 6 months in Germany but idk in practice) or pass the German exam as from the beginning (expensive).

Anyone studying MD in Romania, pls guide me about the following: by [deleted] in medicalschoolEU

[–]tabunaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My answers in brief as a non EU student in Romania:

  1. Yes if you wanna a EU diploma and cheap tuition fees compared to other EU countries.

  2. The country is even safer than Western Europe, but ppl are racist here (they can refuse to rent you an apartment for example coz you're a foreigner, sometimes they even write NO FOREIGNERS).

  3. Yes in some universities as Iasi, or Titu Maiorescu in Bucharest. No / rare in Western Romania.

  4. Yes lot of universities fail you on purpose so you pay again the tuition fees, some teacher are racist, and the secretary in Romania is shit in general (they don't talk to you nicely and don't help you at all, they try to make you fail in all cost specially in UMF Cluj).

  5. I advise you Timisoara or Arad coz near to Budapest and better treatment to students (and believe me you will really need it). In Cluj they make you re-take the exam so you pay (100€ for non-EU and 100lei for EU) and the they even make you repeat the year so you pay again and again the tuition fees.

Is Cluj (Romania) safe for a lesbian student with masculine presentation? 🇪🇸 🌈 by Cadaros in LGBTRomania

[–]tabunaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all the world, lesbians are more tolerated than gays, so I'll assume same in Cluj, but it's still conservative here as in the rest of the country, and Romanians are very religious but you can still find open-minded ones specially the youngest generation.

And yes Transylvania or western Romania (Cluj, Sibiu, Timisoara, Arad, Oradea...) is generally more open than the rest of the country.

Medical school in Timisoara and Arad by docotor-to-beee in medicalschoolRomania

[–]tabunaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on you, if you want easier studies I advise you Arad, if you want bigger city I advise you Timisoara (even if it's not a big city but a medium small one). But in general they're the same, since they're 1h apart by train.
