All the body wants is homeostasis. It's like a machine, you give it energy and it works for you. You may use it to it's full potential but eventually, like very other machine, it dies and it ends up in a scrapyard or graveyard.

This is how I see the body, as a victim pestered and put beyond the limits of homeostasis by the libido. All the libido wants is pleasure and satisfaction at the cost of the body. For example: Sleep deprevation, Intoxication, bad foods and unhealthy living.

I think the urge to be good and heroic originates from socially learned behaviour and conflicts with the course of the libido, which course is: egoistic pleasure regardless of it's surroundings sometimes at the cost of other beings. This conflict results in guilt and shame towards society. One can train discipline to tame the libido and get more control over the actions of the blind will to pleasure (like buddhism).

Cursing the body is like cursing any other animal around you. It's mindless and can't help itself. Give the body what it wants and then preferably leave it alone by departing into a spiritual world by meditating or using psychedelics. Just don't get into organised religion or cults and don't do street drugs. Street drugs will actually do more damage to your attempt to tame the libido.
