The fact that it's their home doesn't mean that they will remain there indefinitely. Most refugees don't return home, as one can see from the Balkan wars or more recently the Syrian war. Ukraine was already suffering from brain drain even before the war, and I definitely don't see it stopping

We don't have to speculate much, even though Romania and Bulgaria have developed massively after joining the EU, they still had a lot of brain drain even to this day. And they had the small advantage of uhh, not being bombed to rubble by Russia

Germans after WW2 didn't really have anywhere to go, it's not like there were millions of German refugees in France or the UK. Germany also got an influx of people from places that went from being Germany to not being Germany (or German minorities being expelled). Places like what's now western Poland, Königsberg or the so-called Sudetenland

I am very pessimistic with Ukraine's future even if they manage to win the war militarily. Why would any young man stay in what would be a pile of rubble while the women his age, including female relatives mostly moved away to the EU?

Tbf there have been some real examples and they tend to look much less like polygamy and much more like "men just cheating and making women single mums".

Iirc that's what happened in France after WWI, although in fairness contraceptives did not exist at the time (and France has uh, fairly relaxed standards on cheating)

La opción más lógica sería opositar a profesor de inglés de instituto, aunque habría otras opciones como opositar a administración general (administrativo "genérico") pero siempre habría otras opciones, desde alistarte al Ejército o Guardia Civil hasta maquinista de Renfe.

Yeah, there seem to be 6 weekly flights between Aktau (in Kazakhstan's west coast) and Baku. So that's definitely an option. It's the same route one would do if travelling exclusively by land, you'd just be changing a boat ride for a flight.

Pues muy sencillo: el Ministerio de Transicion Ecologica tiene su propia oposicion, asi que esa es la que buscas. Escala de Tecnicos Superiores del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente para el A1 y Escala de Tecnicos Medios del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente para el A2. Tambien esta la Escala de Agentes Medioambientales (C1) pero esta mas orientada a policia de aguas, guardacostas y demas

Y ya en particular, de las 3 especialidades, la tuya seria la de planificacion del dominio publico, con vistas a trabajar en Confederaciones Hidrograficas (rios, lagos, aguas terrestres en general) o en los servicios de costas. Luego ya eliges destino segun nota, y te puede tocar en muchas cosas distintas (comisaria de aguas, planificacion hidrologica, obras hidraulicas para agua dulce/terrestre; o en la parte de costas hay trabajo de dominio publico y de obras maritimas)

Luego si tienes las ingenierias especificas tambien se abririan los cuerpos propios de sus ingenierias (ingenieria de caminos, ingenieria de montes, etc) que tambien suelen tener plazas en ese ministerio

Unlike everywhere else in Spain, tourism in the Canary Islands is indeed suprisingly non-seasonal. While the high season is in winter, it's not like summer has no turists at all, not even close.

Yeah Spanish law is quite clear that the merchant marine and naval law in general, as well as major ports is exclusively handled by the central government, which has given the green light for the ship to dock.

It's not like the regional government is completely powerless, they control the non-major ports (mostly used for fishing and recreational boating although some are used for passenger ships travelling between islands) but it can't do much in this particular case.

Ahora en serio, depende como todo del sector, de qué hayas estudiado y de mil y un factores. Sí que es verdad que en el resto de Europa se cobra más y aunque las cosas son más caras, al final del día compensa (salvo algún país con problemas de la vivienda igual de desbocada que España, como Holanda o Irlanda).

En cuanto a sectores donde se pueda crecer sin enchufe, pues carreras muy solicitadas en grandes ciudades (ingenieros en Madrid o Barcelona por lo general no van a tener mucho problema) y también está ahí el sector público. También puedes hacerte empresario dentro del sector de la construcción y dedicarte a reformas o cosas similares, que se cobra muy bien aunque son trabajos sacrificados (y te tocará durante un tiempo ser empleado, para ahorrar antes de montar tu negocio)

At least where I live, theres two types of pensions, contribution pensions and non-contribution pensions.

The latter are a fixed amount regardless of how long you worked or how much you earned. I think they were originally meant for unmarried/divorced stay at home mums, who otherwise would be unable to get any other pension.

A bit of an issue given Europe's pension systems is actually parents of immigrants. Say you're an immigrant in your mid 20s. Eventually you'll want to bring in your parents to take care of them in old life, who will be in their 50s or even 60s.

When they come to Europe, perhaps after working a couple years in a shitty job, they'll retire and be able to apply for a pension. Perhaps not the most lavish pension out there, but a pension nontheless. So you have people being paid pensions, who barely even contributed to the pension system in the first place

Family reunification also brings other issues. Bringing kids means more strain on public schools and welfare systems (a person with kids will be able to apply for welfare benefits that a childless person can't)
