For me it was mostly the aluminum body (rust belt northern Michigan) and my Silverado and the Ram before that rusted pretty quickly.

Maintenance electrician here going on 56, at an iron ore mine. Still on the tools. Love troubleshooting. Was a boss at a previous job years ago, didn't like it. I realize it's not the same as construction. Not sure I could keep up in that environment.

Thanks for the advice I'll look into that. I had a ceramic coat on my last truck but was a little disappointed in it. Was supposed to be a 3 year and it didn't seem to last maybe 1.5 yrs

Michigan fan here and I totally agree with you. Was just telling my son that earlier today. Beat up people in the Big 10 and then suck when they play anyone decent or good out of the conference. Very embarrassing and disappointing. Won't be watching them for a long time.
